  1. Ok...i'm willing to not complain if Garland is sent out if 2 conditions are met. 1. Garland does not allow anyone on base. Anyone gets on...he's out. 2. Garland throws more than 12 pitches this inning...he's out at the end of that at bat.
  2. Pitch 21 of the inning turns into a double play....argh.
  3. QUOTE(CYGarland @ Sep 26, 2005 -> 05:54 PM) Detroit's announcer just said the White Sox know how to wear down opposing pitchers.
  4. Bets on number of pitches before the infield falls asleep?
  5. Here comes pitch 19 of the inning... Will be #91 for Johnson.
  6. "Clay's computer is so old, it's called "The Seed" instead of the Apple" -Rooney with the pun so bad it's worthy of me.
  7. Here comes pitch 17 of this inning. With still no one out.
  8. I guess the good news is that this time when the ball was coming straight at Carl, he didn't swing at it.
  9. Hitting the coldest guy in our lineup...that's doing us a HUGE favor.
  10. And here comes Everett striking out.
  11. 92 pitches for Garland through 6. 3 runs given up...at least it's a quality start. Hard to demand any more than that from a pitcher.
  12. Ok, this should be Garland's last inning.
  13. There's Garland's 7th strikeout.
  14. 6 in a row retired since Crede went deep.
  15. Didn't Brownie tell you that you can't stop at just the President and the Vice President?
  16. QUOTE(CYGarland @ Sep 26, 2005 -> 05:25 PM) I'd let him try to make it through the lineup 1 more time. And then turn it over to the pen, if possible. The good news? Thanks to the good work of our other starters against Cleveland...we have taken the worn out bullpen of the Post-Cleveland series and turned it into a fairly well rested bullpen.
  17. QUOTE(The Ginger Kid @ Sep 26, 2005 -> 05:20 PM) it's official - Uribe has returned to form. The first time I read this...I thought it said Uribe had returned to Foam. And sadly, it still made sense.
  18. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Sep 26, 2005 -> 05:16 PM) It's Rally Crede time! Can I call em or what?

:banghead :banghead :banghead :banghead :banghead Why does this just not surprise me at all?
  20. Favor to ask... Can anyone outside of Chicago who's reading this thread tell me if DirecTV is carrying the Tigers broadcast? When it's on WCIU, DirecTV outside of Chicago doesn't carry the game at all sometimes, unless they carry our opponent's broadcast
  21. 20 games. The MLB players are saying now they'll accept 20 games as a suspension for being caught using steroids. What a f***ing Joke. You use steroids for months...add pounds of muscle mass...and they might suspend you for 20 games. It has to be at least 40. Otherwise, it doesn't make a damn difference...the stuff probably won't even leave people's systems in that long...let alone 20. MLBPA better step it up soon...otherwise they're going to be facing a mandatory 2 year suspension for the first test, and it'll be federal law.
  22. I know I usually don't root for people to get hurt...but I'd just like to say that I am not unhappy that we won't be seeing Rondell White this series.
