Everett gets hit by the pitch...the Royals don't like it...Everett doesn't like it and gives Greinke a nice look... Please let this turn into a distraction. Buddy Bell is complaining Everett didn't get out of the way...yet Huber didn't get out of the way earlier.

Everett is the last hitter we had reach base safely.

Ok guys...Greinke has thrown 97 pitches...if he comes out, it's time to take advantage of him this inning and get him out of the game.

Good work Joe...This game is starting to remind me a lot of last night's game, at least on the defensive end.

That's the first hit for K.C. that was not a double. 5 doubles, 1 single.

That is what is called rising to the occasion. Thank you Mark. Had the next hitter come up...I may have had an aneurysm.

Intresting internet merger/spinoff
QUOTE(JUGGERNAUT @ Sep 15, 2005 -> 11:27 AM) There was a time when Netscape was among the leaders in browers. Then AOL bought them. Now Netscape accounts for If the Fed is serious about insuring competition then it should require AOL to sell off Netscape. What makes that all the more interesting is that the sell off might just mean Time Warner keeps it. Some DSL & cable companies have integrated their own browsers with their services. Time Warner still owns a signifcant % of the cable market in the US. Netscape would have value to them. I could even see them making a play for Firefox. Time Warner's TNT is the #1 cable network in America. Netscape was dismantled before AOL bought them through Microsoft bundling IE with Windows. Netscape's death was not AOL's fault.

Ugh, man, I thought Firefox wasn't supposed to crash so badly that you end up needing the computer's kill switch just to wake it up. Is it still 2-2? Edit - wait, yes it is, j ust saw SS2K5's update.

That would be the unintentional intentional walk.

QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Sep 15, 2005 -> 11:59 AM) Going through the thread and talking about field conditions, does anyone know why Roger Bossard soaks the infield before the games at USCF? I would think with the White Sox wanting to run they would keep it a little drier. How dare you cast doubt upon the work of Roger Bossard! Seriously, if there's anyone employed by this team who knows what he's doing...it's Bossard.

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Sep 15, 2005 -> 11:53 AM) Everything looks wet. The OF looks bad. Got today's rain/mist, plus the heavy rains 2 days ago...that field has taken a lot of water this series. Hopefully no one gets hurt.

QUOTE(robinventura23 @ Sep 15, 2005 -> 11:52 AM) Is the infield wet or something? I believe it's been misting for much of the game thus far, so yes.

QUOTE(robinventura23 @ Sep 15, 2005 -> 11:47 AM) No news on if his back was acting up last night? His pitches were just off, I guess. He hasn't worked much lately because of his back, so I'm at least willing to suspend disbelief and say it might not be his back with absolute certainty, but I hope he's being honest with the training crew right now.

QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Sep 15, 2005 -> 11:46 AM) 1st and 3rd, 2 outs. An ace pitcher gets this next out. And Mark did it with 1 pitch. Good work MB.
