QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 12:43 AM) It's just when you add everything together Chicago is by far the best choice. You can point out a big time negative about all the other destinations except Chicago. It really does make the most sense and as I said before, if I wasn't a Bulls fan, I'd really believe he was coming to Chicago. I realize this, but I think the lure of South Beach and playing with his boys might be too much to overcome.

QUOTE (WHarris1 @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 12:31 AM) Bulls silence. No Bulls rumors with Lerbon. Boozer randomly jumping on a deal less than what he ultimately could have gotten elsewhere or here. Boozer signing for just enough to leave the Bulls with a max. Ford reporting the Bulls "skipped" on Wade because they want the bigger fish. Best roster where he can still be "the man". I'll be here tomorrow night to simply smile cuz I'll be severely incapacitated already, or I'll simply say I was f***ing wrong I suck. But I'm feelin good right now. I understand where you are coming from...but do you think LeBron is evaluating this situation on the same basis? It's seems like there a groupthink thing going on with the way all the FAs have been communicating and possibly planning with each other. It seems like a lot of this is about who these guys can play with and where -- not necessarily about winning.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 12:25 AM) All I know is I'm done with the NBA if Lebron chooses Miami. No hyperbole. If I wanted to watch a sport where who wins or loses is pre-determined, I'd watch wrestling. It's curtains for the rest of the NBA until 2016. I love how pissed off J4L is.

Why do we own the Angels, but lose a series to the Royals?

QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 11:57 PM) Humidity does help out the pitcher? Matt at 98 Stone has repeatedly stated that it is helpful for breaking ball pitchers.
-
Every time Matt has a good outing, I just sit in amazement knowing that we got him for Joe f***ing Borchard.
-
There is no f***ing accountability at all in the media. So ridiculous.
-
That was f***ing terrible.

Sergio was warming in the pen, Ace.

QUOTE (iamshack @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 11:36 PM) Jason Bartlett has resumed sucking again this year. Haha, I stand corrected.
-
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 11:34 PM) Denny Hocking Matt LeCroy Jason Tyner Lew Ford Jason Bartlett Nick Punto Henry Blanco Mike Redmond Except Jason Bartlett is pretty awesome.

Was Lillibridge really highly regarded as a MLB prospect at some point? I know when we got him as part of a package for Javy that the Braves had soured on him. I wonder what the projections were for him?
-
QUOTE (BFirebird @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 11:23 PM) Seriously...who thought that both Viciedo and Lillibridge would be contributing right now and we would be like 1 game out of 1st? For so long, it pissed me off that randoms from the Twins minor league system would come up and make an immediate impact. It feels awesome to be on the opposite end of that.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 11:21 PM) Gotta love it. Steve, what will be the least infuriating scenario for you? (Aside from the Bulls getting him.)

QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 11:11 PM) watch it, you'll enjoy it I will, if not only for the fact that I want the dumbass blonde (Boone's sister) to die a horrible death via polar bear.

PK looked super pissed after missing that one.

QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 11:03 PM) LeBron James is like the show "Lost". In the end, he'll probably choose the Cavs and we'll never hear an explanation for all the interesting things we've heard along the way: - WWW issues - dinner with Amar'e/Houston - FA summit with Wade/Bosh - tax form changed to Chicago - house hunting in Lake Forest The LeBron supporters will then say it wasn't about the unexplained details, it was about the character. Well f*** fathom, I'm about to finish up the first season of LOST. (I KNOW, way behind the times.) Sucks to hear there is no payoff.

QUOTE (iamshack @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 10:29 PM) Hah, while I don't necessarily agree with everything he writes, that is a funny f***ing article. The dude who wrote that article is clearly pissed (and it was pretty funny), but I can't help but wonder about people that share his perspective. Did it really take this whole fiasco to figure out that LeBron is a major league stroke job? I'll stick with my prediction that he is staying in Cleveland.

Such bulls*** he isn't in the All Star Game.

QUOTE (thxfrthmmrs @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 10:02 PM) that starting 5 would require no defense at the perimeter, all opposing defense has to do is stay at home around the painted area to guard Rose's penetration. Brewer would be a nice addition for a 6th man My 5 would look like this rose/ jwill or ridnour allen or miller / morrow deng / barnes boozer / gibson noah / ratliff or asik Ray Allen has re-signed with the Celtics for 20 million / 2 years

QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 09:50 PM) Gordon is much better at creating his own shot. Morrow might play better D on a team that focuses on it. He's a great energy player thought with a ton of enthusiasm. I'm all for bringing him in then -- we could use an excellent outside shooter. Plus we would be getting a GT guy that isn't a flaming douchebag.
-
So, Morrow sounds like a slightly bigger version of Ben Gordon who can play defense. Is that right?
-
It's nice to win a series against the Angels as they always seem to play well against us. I wonder if Beckham will continue to ride the pine?
