  1. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 05:58 PM) Hell no. Exactly. I was penciling Hudson in to replace a faltering Garcia in the 2nd half. Now we have another hole.
  2. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 05:59 PM) But there's no way in hell Chicago has a chance. makes no sense for him to be a Bull. None. I love it when you analyze.
  3. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 05:57 PM) LILLIBOMB DH You know full well we'll score 12 tonight, because God has a sense of humor. Hopefully we're up 12-0 in the bottom of the 5th and the game gets called for rain. I need a good night of sleep.
  4. QUOTE (thxfrthmmrs @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 05:56 PM) just a thought, if lebron comes to the bulls to join the current roster, wins 6 rings and plays for the same amount of games as Jordan did, while average stats to his career average, who would you say as the greatest of all time? Dominique Wilkins
  5. QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 05:54 PM) Pierre LF Ramirez SS Rios CF Konerko 1B Jones RF Castro C Viciedo 3B Lillibridge DH Beckham 2B Garcia P Yikes. That does not look like a playoff caliber roster.
  6. QUOTE (GreatScott82 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 05:50 PM) I agree its a blow. But Danks, Buerhle, Garcia and Floyd have been outstanding. If Hudson doesn't perform- KW will bring in another SP. I know its a stretch, but don't be surprised if KW tries to block Minny by overpaying for Cliff Lee. Do you really expect Freddy to keep up this pace the rest of the season?
  7. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 05:50 PM) He wouldn't do a big TV thing if it wasn't Cleveland. It's too much a snub to his home state to do that to Cleveland. Lebron James only cares about Lebron James.
  8. QUOTE (WHarris1 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 04:59 PM) JA Adande said on ESPN 1000 that the Bulls bombed their presentation to Lebron Yikes
  9. QUOTE (lostfan @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 04:58 PM) s*** man, 65 pages since this morning. I'm going out on a limb and saying there was a lot of Boozer talk. 80% b****ing, 15% Boozer, 5% optimism
  10. QUOTE (stretchstretch @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 04:57 PM) can someone post some the article links on the situation? http://tinyurl.com/3ajoszm
  11. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 04:42 PM) Can Avery Johnson read an introduction?
  12. QUOTE (jphat007 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 04:40 PM) Man, Q doesn't play through anything. Yeah it's pretty bad when you can't even DH.
  13. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 04:39 PM) If Sam Smith writes it, i might kill myself. It's actually going to be a Stephen A Smith audio book.
  14. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 04:33 PM) Some others have pointed this out in this thread....honestly, why would Carlos Boozer's agent allow him to sign this contract TODAY unless there was another purpose? Could he not have forced someone to give him a max contract simply by waiting until Friday? Who the hell else were the Bulls going to sign? Oh I don't know.......SATAN?!
  15. This is why he needs to be our full time DH.
  16. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 04:28 PM) Q out. f***
  17. Tweet of the day: John McCain: Sarah Palin qualified to be president but Elena Kagan not fit for Supreme Court.
  18. QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 04:14 PM) you guys are just going to be let down again tomorrow. Dont do this to yourselves. Don't make me bust out my Debbie Downer photo again.
  19. QUOTE (BearSox @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 04:06 PM) Jones getting 3 starts in a row, let alone being on an MLB roster, is laughable. ^^^This
  20. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 03:48 PM) But atleast with Konerko, Rios, and with a resurgent Quentin, there's some semblance of a major league lineup. I'm talking like Pierre - LF Vizquel - DH Kotsay - 1B Jones - RF Viciedo - 3B Ramirez - SS Castro - C Lillibridge - CF Beckham - 2B and you'd let Marquez throw 150 pitches if that's what it took to get him through 6 innings. Then you could give the ball to Linebrink for the remaining 3 and hope that his arm falls off and you can put him on the DL.
  21. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 03:48 PM) He's comming here people. He's comming... Yeah. I'm sure they'd announce that the day before the messiah's press conference.
  22. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 03:46 PM) I wouldn't read too much into his current inning load in Charlotte. There can be multiple reasons for his inning and pitch counts. I wasn't even referring to what Hudson is doing in Charlotte. I mean does anyone think he can come up and be as dominant as Jake's been looking over the last month or so and pitch deep into games on a regular basis? Unlikely.
  23. QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 03:46 PM) I wonder when LBJ will tell the his new/current team his decision. Could the team really not know at this point? I think that they might not know. The less people that know, the less chance of a leak.
  24. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 03:44 PM) Below is what I said earlier in the thread, it definitely hurts us but doesn't put us out of the race. If JFP were to be out for the year, he would miss about 15 more starts. Realistically assuming the team goes 10-5 in games he starts, then as long as Hudson can hit the .500 mark, they would only lose a game or two in the standings. I know in this division one game has meant everything the last two years, but it can still be won. Losing a Rios or PK would hurt much more IMO. But he's an innings eater. Hudson averaging 5 innings or so per start will have an overall adverse effect on the entire bullpen.
