QUOTE(aboz56 @ Oct 8, 2005 -> 09:01 AM) I would just like to say to all of the bandwagon jumpers who are trying to get on this truck that is steamrolling ahead that we don't want you! Everyone at Soxtalk knows who has been with us through the thick and the thin. It's just gross how all of these "White Sox" fans are emerging from the woodwork now that we are a force to be reckoned with in the playoffs. I remember the third game of the season, when we barely had 10,000 people at the game. I was there. Where were all of these bums? I would just like to give a big hell YEAH to all of my fellow soxtalkers who have been here since the beginning and have been Sox fans for years and a lot of us since birth. We are the ones who are enjoying this the most. And to the chat crew, it's been a great season and thank you for letting me become the people's admin.... Meh, I wouldn't worry too much about bandwagon fans. The more people that go to games = more money Reinsdorf will spend on salary. So what if some people discover how much fun watching the Sox is? Sounds like a win win situation to me. But I can understand a healthy weariness of new fans, it would obviously suck if our beloved ball park starts to be filled with "fans" that pee all over their precious shrine on the north side. ps. i haven't posted here since the beginning, but i was going to Sox games before you were born.

QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Oct 9, 2005 -> 06:19 PM) Damnit!!!! I have hw, Mike! For now, I'll just say Angelo and company have made their living in the middle rounds. Rather than bore you with some of my notebook findings, I'll just say: for the most part, that statement is pretty inaccurate. If you can find a team that has produced as many serviceable NFL players week-in and week-out via the mid rounds...from, say, the past 4-6 seasons. Well, I can't eat my hat. But, I'll eat something. More to come...eh...maybe yea, those 'amazing' mid round picks sure have built the Bears a good team. lol -

QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Oct 9, 2005 -> 05:40 PM) They dont seem to make the best choices in the 1st round is probably what he meant to say. Also the later rounds like 3rd, 4th, and 5th round guys we have got arent because of Angelo its because of this other guy who scouts them and recomends them to Angelo. Angelo needs to be fired. He has done a horrible job with free agents and early round draft picks. This Bears team is horrible and I place most of the blame on Angelo. This 05' team is completely undermanned and unprepared to play NFL football. ps. Lovie Smith has no business being the Bears head coach. -

QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Oct 9, 2005 -> 05:36 PM) Would you care to expand on that or just leave it as is? hmmm, Enis, McNown, Haynes, Grossman, Salaam, Colombo, ect. Do you think the Bears have drafted wisely? Do you think they have been successful? -

QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Oct 9, 2005 -> 02:21 PM) Yeah and everyone gave me s*** when I jumped on the Bears for drafting another running back. They do the same s*** every time. They get a high pick and waste it trying to draft the next Walter Payton. The Bears are horrible when it comes to evaluating talent and drafting players. -
