  1. Pitcher Runelvys Hernandez of the Royals was ejected from the game in the bottom of the 6th inning by home plate umpire Marty Foster for throwing at the head of Carlos Guillen. The incident ultimately led to a bench clearing brawl. Emil Brown of the Royals was ejected from the game in the bottom of the 6th inning by home plate umpire Marty Foster for participating in the bench clearing brawl. Carlos Guillen of the Tigers was ejected from the game in the bottom of the 6th inning by home plate umpire for participating in the bench clearing brawl. Alberto Castillo, Manager Buddy Bell of the Royals and pitchers Jeremy Bonderman and Kyle Farnsworth of the Tigers were ejected from the game in the bottom of the 6th inning by home plate umpire Marty Foster for participating in the bench clearing brawl.
  2. In that KC/DET Brawl, warnings were issued in the 2nd inning after Tehan HRd and Maroth hit the next hitter...later in the game, Hernandez (KC) beaned Guillen in the head and then was walking towards him talking s***... pushing and shoving of course ensued and Farns cme out of the pen and put a tackle on Affeldt I think (not sure).
  3. Outside of the Oakland game, this is Jons best effort this yr, hes had to overcome a lot of baserunners and especially the home plate dumbass back there
  4. Hafner will be ok... Head athletic trainer Lonnie Soloff said Hafner sustained a mild concussion, which kept him out of the starting lineup Sunday. Hafner had no broken bones and didn't lose any teeth, though he had lacerations inside his upper lip.
  5. ANyone notice we are the lead story on MLB.com, Garland and the pursuit of the sw......I aint saying it!!!
  6. QUOTE(CYGarland @ Jul 17, 2005 -> 02:26 PM) I don't know if any one has mentioned this, but the Royals and Tigers got into a brawl today, and Farnsworth got ejected for tackling a Royal. He willlikely be suspended for some time. What a dumb#$#@! BTW, the Indians announcers were mentioning there were alot of Sox Fans in attendance, and they couln't figure out why? Because they said Nobody goes to games on the Southside. f*** em, sure will be nice to shut these f***'s up once and for all, after we sweep there ass today! Tigers must be pissed because they are getting blanked 4-0 by KC
  7. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jul 17, 2005 -> 02:24 PM) "I don't know what the people are doing at the game in Cleveland in white sox shirts, because they don't go to the games in Chicago" - Cleveland announcers. Bastards. Hey the Sox are kicking their asses in every aspect of this series, they have to b**** about something!!!
  8. QUOTE(fathom @ Jul 17, 2005 -> 02:16 PM) What's happening is he's not getting the fastball called by the umpire, so he's going more with the change-up. He is getting absolutely nothing called at the knees and the Perholta AB the ball was waste high, more over the plate than when he rang up Frank in the 3rd and he called a ball. 13+ wins and still no respect from this prick ump!!!
  9. Jon is throwing fine he has 2 strikes on every hitter and 3-4 occassions got screwed out of a backward K
  10. QUOTE(fathom @ Jul 17, 2005 -> 02:11 PM) Garland continues to play with fire. He's allowed more 2 strike hits today than he has in a long time. I contribute that to the ump who wont call a strike 3 for Jon today!!
  11. It may have been a wasted opportunity, but JG is solid again today...should be better than he is but the home plate ump doesnt seem to know where the strike zone is!!!
  12. I like Iguchi better 2nd only b/c he doesnt mind giving away ABs to get Pods over and knows to take pitches to let Pods setal bases
  13. Jenks and Walker included too... there will be a 40 man roster at the end of the year!!
  14. Anderson could come up and be the next Borchard!!! Then where will we be?
  15. Wind is blowing out to RF so lets get Jon some early support
  16. QUOTE(ScottPodRulez22 @ Jul 16, 2005 -> 10:26 PM) Why would widger play for the second time is 2 days? Elarton is a RHP so im sure AJ will be in the lineup... Id like to see... Pods Tad Frank Paulie Dye AJ AROW Crede Ozuna
  17. QUOTE(jackie hayes @ Jul 16, 2005 -> 06:52 PM) Fox broadcasts are consistently awful -- actually, every aspect of their coverage is. It's sad but true that the best broadcaster they've had in years is Al Leiter. I don't know why national baseball broadcasts are so bad, ESPN included. I would always rather listen to the opposing team's announcers than any national team working today. Having the Baseball Package on DirecTV, I listen to alot of announcers. Rick Manning who did color on Fox today is solid, and believe it or not the Twins duo of Dick Bremer and Bert Blyleven and good too. The Royals Paul Splittorff and Bob Davis are just as solid!!
  18. During a Gamebreak, KK had the balls to say he thought Buehrle was throwing at Hafner because this is a heated rivalry. What a friggin idiot...Rick Manning who does TV for the Indians even said that 1 got away and Hafner was very slow to react. The last thing we need is for this dumbass to be saying Buehrle is throwing at Haf. But hey thanks for the retaliation, Dye steals a base and scores on Crede's double!! Seems everytime Westbrook got into the stretch, we lit him up
  19. Tadano looks like he would enjoy gay porn...needed the money my ass!!!
  20. Ladies and Gentleman, the Indians have left the AL Central Race!!!
  21. Rick Manning is a fine color analyst, wish we could trade DJ for Manning!! Let Cleveland put up with DJ
