Seems like a lot of teams can load up on right handed hitters vs the Sox now, however some big inter-division lefties(Hafner, Morneau, Mauer, Teahen, Gordon, Granderson) could be neutralized more effectively.

     

    I think Pronk and Gordon are injured and out for awhile so thats good news

    Why would they release him? Didn't he already clear waivers when they sent him down before? Does he have to go through again? I'm sure he'd clear. Why not keep him around in case you need a pinch runner in September?

     

    Give the guy a chance to catch on somewhere and play...we got Lillibridge to PR in September
