  1. I was watching this live yesterday. I wasn't positive i heard that correctly, but told my roommate i thought i heard her drop the F bomb in ridiculous fashion.
  2. QUOTE(Soxbadger @ Mar 10, 2006 -> 03:43 PM) Didnt get to see the game, but the box score makes it appear that Wisconsin couldnt shoot at all, they made like what 2 3 pointers and still were in the game? I had a feeling that they might lose, Indiana in Indiana is always rough. Kammron Taylor didn't do s***, that's what hurt a lot.
  3. While i'm somewhat interested in the WBC, s*** like this makes it stupid. Why is south africa in this thing to begin with? We could have done without some of these teams.
  4. Not one assist for either team the entire half. Good stuff.
  5. IU scored 5 points in the last 13 minutes of the half. 5 points. 19-15 Wisky at half time. This game is absolutely brutal. Wow.
  6. IU was up 10-2 early. Wisky went on a 15-0 run to make it 17-10.
  7. I like being in Atlanta instead of Minne in order to play in the Duke bracket instead of the Nova bracket

  9. QUOTE(Elcaballo45 @ Mar 10, 2006 -> 12:16 PM) Well, this Penn St team is capable of pulling off the big game upset as we know. I'm really not sure right now who I want to win though, being a huge Big 10 fan, I think OSU getting a possible 1 seed would be huge, but then again, it takes out one more team that could beat Illinois. We got to handle the Spartans first I suppose, which will be tough. How do you beat an Izzo coached team 3 times in the same season. Uggg Go Illini! How? Have Davis, Ager, and Brown play sloppy both mentally and physically, rendering Izzo irrelevant.
  10. I'd love to see an upset or two in these two games on the espn network
  11. I like our defense right now - the fact that they are all young and getting a ton of playing time...well, minus Cullimore. If only we could have traded him as well. The defense is something we have to look forward to at least. And yeah, Boch arrived at the intermission i guess. Also weird that Dowd just had to change locker rooms and jerseys to play tonight. That had to be weird for him.
  12. QUOTE(THEWOOD @ Mar 9, 2006 -> 06:03 PM) I dont think there is any way that Illinois is a one seed. Well if someone is going to argue that OSU should be a one seed if they win the tournament, if Illinois wins the tournament, you have to at least make a similar argument.
  13. Purdue hanging around. Only down 6 with 4:15 left. Davis on the bench with 4.
  14. Not a bad job by Tallon this trading deadline. I like getting picks in the post mike smith era of drafting. I used to be a big Arnason fan, but he ended up as wasted talent in an Indianhead jersey.
  15. You could make the case that going into Sunday's game, if it's Ill-OSU, they could have a 1 seed and 2 seed reserved. Winner would take the 1 seed, loser the 2 seed. Not saying that's what's going to happen by any means, but it's a possibility.
  16. LOL Right after i get done texting Keith, i see he's in a computer lab and didn't need the update.
  17. QUOTE(ZoomSlowik @ Mar 9, 2006 -> 01:44 PM) Like I said before, UNC just did last year, and this is a weaker field. They're not a lock, but they've got the best shot of anybody. Duke has played even more poorly of late and one of their two good players is playing poorly and looks gased. Nova is decent, but they're vulnerable to anyone with size, or just a bad shooting night. No one else is even close. Since when is their defense that brutal? They've had 3 bad defensive games that I've seen. They've won numerous games in the 60's, so it isn't all offense. Yeah, beat me to it. UNC was pure talent, Illinois was a better "team." UNC had sick talent, but didn't play as a unit all the time. I see no reason why Uconn can't do something similar.
  18. QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Mar 8, 2006 -> 09:29 PM) No, that's not the way it works. I am willing to make the offer without seeing the seeding. The bet is for those that are SO sure Gonzaga is SO overrated they will flop in the tournament. If they are that confident, then they can put their money where their mouth is. $20 shouldn't break anyone. Then again, if they are that confident, then they should believe they will lose and they won't have to worry about the $. I find it funny that so many seem absolutely positive that Gonzaga is so vastly overrated that they crow about it with recklessness, yet won't back up their words! Well i've said all along it depends on the matchups, so this doesn't mean much to me. By the same token if you are so sure that they will make the sweet 16, it would make no difference to you if we saw the bracket.
