  1. So far, it looks like their is NO rust on the Sox B)
  2. QUOTE(Punch and Judy Garland @ Oct 22, 2005 -> 05:29 PM) I hate it when the wind blows out. Both homers normally would not have been Wind blowing out favors us.
  3. I would have liked to see PK take a hack at that 3-0 pitch
  4. QUOTE(Elcaballo45 @ Oct 22, 2005 -> 05:12 PM) Hopefully he does a Vlad for the series. Hopefully their whole team does too
  5. QUOTE(Linnwood @ Oct 22, 2005 -> 04:36 PM) ATTN FOX SPORTS: THERE IS NO CURSE THERE IS NO 'WHITE SOX NATION' THIS IS NOT BOSTON JUST f***ING WIN! What irritates me the most is the Cub comparisons :puke
  6. My prediction for tonite.......4-1 Sox. We will score 3 runs off Clemens, Iguchi will hit a 2 run homer, and Contreras will go the distance Now, LET'S KICK SOME ASSTROS!!!!!!!
  7. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Oct 21, 2005 -> 05:06 PM) And that's the real key...we need to offer Konerko a comparable offer. He's going to get at least 4 years, $50 million offered by someone. He's worth that to me right now, just based on the last 2 years. If someone offers a 5th year, or an option for a 5th year, that's worth consideration too. I think he'll stay if we make a competitive offer. But by competitive I mean actually paying him, not dicking around with extending out the contract through 2050 like the f***ing lottery. And not just hoping he gives us a hometown discount. We need to match what other teams offer for him until the numbers get crazy (I wouldn't pay $17 mil a year for him, for example). 5 years/60 Mil. That would be my final offer
  8. QUOTE(rangercal @ Oct 20, 2005 -> 05:36 AM) I would agree over the course of the season. But, over the course of a spread out series, I doubt we even see Backe starting. I see houston Using their rotation similar to the Dbacks in the 01 WS. Difference being, they have 3 dominant Sp's opposed to 2. I don't think Garner will throw Clemens in game 4 on 3 days rest, unless it's an elimination game. Now if Oswalt had pitched game 1, i bet he would have started 4 and 7......THANK GOD, Pujols hit that homer
  9. At this rate I'm really hoping we play Houston, because i think we can match up better w/ their lineup in their park. St. Louis on the other hand..............Either way, i am curious as to how Oz is going to make out the lineup card in the NL park. Obviously, top priority is giving PK protection, and w/ Everett out, who bat's behind him? Dye? AJ? Crede? Rowand??? Personally, I'd like to see Oz go w/ this lineup..........Pods, Rowand, Iguchi, PK, Dye, AJ, Crede, Uribe, P.........But I imagine he will probably go w/ this one.......Pods, Iguchi, Dye, PK, AJ?, Rowand, Crede, Uribe, P.............Considering the pitcher has to hit, I think it's extremely safe to say the BP will actually pitch in the NL park. Let's just hope their not TOO rusty
  10. JC, Buehrle, Garland, Garcia............Enough said
  11. QUOTE(WinninUgly @ Oct 16, 2005 -> 08:35 PM) 3 Freakin outs! I cannot believe we are this close, with a 3 run lead no less. This is the most Amazing thing i have ever witnessed!!!!! Let's hope we can close it out, and win the WS!!!!!!
  12. 6-3!!!!!!!!!!!! 3 outs BABY!!! WE CAN DO THIS s***!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
