  1. I'm thinking it might be easy to score tickets to this weekend's series.
  2. QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Jun 28, 2006 -> 04:26 PM) but its not a story. If have you seen your opinoin posted pretty clearly in this thread. Why obsess over it? Don't vote if you don't want to.
  3. I did my part. And I will continue voting like a Chicago election, early and often. In reference to previous posts, I think Iguchi has a large Japanese-American fanbase. In Cincinnati, there was an Asian family in front of me in Red's gear that would wave a Japanese flag every time Iguchi came to bat. I think the Asian community can give a big boost with White Sox fans votes to get him in if this story gets enough attention.
  4. Prediction: Tigers will also win Friday 5-0, Saturday 6-2, and Sunday 9-1 against Pittsburgh.
  5. QUOTE(Jimbo @ Jun 27, 2006 -> 08:38 PM) Why does the organ play so much at wrigley, is it a cue to drink?? That would explain a lot.
  6. QUOTE(Jimbo @ Jun 27, 2006 -> 06:51 PM) Tigers color guy sounds like porky pig and his analyzing skills are like Chris Singleton x2 Why won't the Tiger lose?
  7. You know the NL is bad when KC is running up the score board against Cincinnati. KC may be a playoff team in the NL.
  8. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Jun 27, 2006 -> 08:21 PM) Last year, the ticket brokers by the El were selling tickets for face. Hmmm .... Thanks.
  9. QUOTE(illinilaw08 @ Jun 27, 2006 -> 08:19 PM) I'll be going Sunday and I am very interested to see how many Sox fans are there If I can find a Cub fan jumping off the bandwagon and wants to unload the tickets for a reasonable price, I may change my mind. Any ideas?
  10. Tigers only scored three. The astros might score that many runs the rest of this week against AL teams. Pathetic!
  11. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Jun 27, 2006 -> 08:13 PM) I go there every year, and every year I say I won't ever go again. I'm going again. Its nice to watch the Sox beat the Cubs, although I am really concerned with the series coming up. I have thought about getting tickets this weekend. But the fact is, I hate Wrigley. It is the most inconvenient field in the majors. Not to mention all of the fights I saw at Wrigely during previous series should be tripled this year based on the frustration of Cubs fans.
  12. Based on their performance in interleague, I don't think the NL should be allowed to have a representative in the World Series. Seriously. Otherwise, the World Series will only last 4 games again this year.
  13. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Jun 27, 2006 -> 08:09 PM) You know the Sox get their road per diem when the "travel" to Wrigley I think it would be nice if Sox fans took over the "friendly confinds" this weekend.
  14. I know we have the Rally Crede, but do we have a banner to jinx the Tigers. How about a Magglio banner?
  15. QUOTE(Ih8thesystem @ Jun 27, 2006 -> 08:04 PM) Clemens is losing it. Consecutive walks. Game's already over. The Tigers one. Most of the world just doesn't know it yet.
  16. QUOTE(SoxFanForever @ Jun 27, 2006 -> 08:01 PM) The Astro's offense is as big a joke as IWin4Prep's mustache Didn't the rally scruff get us a few wins this year.
  17. Clemens may have to pitch 30 shut out innings tonight before the Astros get another man to third.
  18. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jun 27, 2006 -> 07:57 PM) I'm not sure what exactly they'll do to win but I know Granderson will be apart of it. Safe bet.
  19. So now that we have established that Detroit is going to win, the only question is how. My prediction: solo homer in the bottom of the nineth.
  20. Right now the only teams that I dislike more than the Tigers is the other teams with an inability to beat them.
  21. QUOTE(Brian @ Jun 27, 2006 -> 07:49 PM) Come on Adam Everett! ^^^^^^
  22. That's a our gold glove left fielder. Remember that there was once an argument over who should play CF between Pods and Rowand. That was a stupid argument.
