    A New Addition

    QUOTE(kapkomet @ Mar 3, 2005 -> 10:41 AM) Our puppy has parvo. Since he's fairly big, he has a pretty good chance of beating it, assuming we spend the money to get him fixed up. *sigh* We have had the worst time with pets this year. One cat has diabetes, she has done well with treatment. Then my other cat got it (different litter) and we had to put her to sleep three weeks ago, and now this. Kap.. parvo is extremely common in pound puppies. I'm sure he'll be fine as the medications are 100 times better now then they were just 3 years ago. Just be sure to get rid of any existing toys, chew things, and any bedding he's been on.. wash all surfaces he's come in contact with, and also buy some fertilizer for your grass outside and spray the crap out of it so it grows and you can get the grass he's been on cut and out of there.
  2. You guys... isn't it obvious that it will be Willie for Ben Sheets... Just like it was predicted last year. :rolly
  3. QUOTE(beck72 @ Mar 3, 2005 -> 10:08 AM) If the Willie to MILW. rumor indeed has legs to it, couldn't it be for someone else besides Helms? Dumping Helms and his $2+ mill salary would be great for MILW, but I don't see him being the best fit for the sox. Sure could.. my guess is straight up for Bernie the Brewer.
  4. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Mar 3, 2005 -> 09:37 AM) Also very interesting about Pudge. They are really trying to mend burnt bridges. I wonder if they are trying to get him a job in this organization? It wont happen. Jerry could have controlled the way it went down and he didn't. Carlton has been very outspoken about his feelings towards Jerry. Every time I have asked him the past 5 years it's always the same answer... "no". He doesn't need the $$, and has plenty of other things on his plate. Besides, he likes his privacy now. I don't see him giving that up in the near future.
  5. QUOTE(Punch and Judy Garland @ Mar 3, 2005 -> 07:14 AM) i stand by my statement. In disguise I hope..

    Free Ice Cream

    QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Mar 2, 2005 -> 04:53 PM) I went with New York Style Cheesecake, and i was satisfied. Oh.. the possibilities...
  11. QUOTE(3E8 @ Mar 2, 2005 -> 04:44 PM) Did someone hit a home run right after I said this? Uh, yep.
  12. QUOTE(quickman @ Mar 2, 2005 -> 03:33 PM) Steff, parking is 13 for season ticket holders, same as last year. The main lots are 17, no tenure required. Thanks Q.. I knew Jim was wrong..
  13. QUOTE(Soxnbears01 @ Mar 2, 2005 -> 02:33 PM) I tell ya one thing..........hearing rooney and farmer put an instant smile on my face. Mine too.
  14. QUOTE(JimH @ Mar 2, 2005 -> 02:31 PM) What I inferred is not just the starting 8, but all of the position players. Utility infielders ... everything. Could be, just sounds weird. Agree. Or maybe he's just talking to hear himself. IMO, nothing is set in stone until April 3rd.
  15. QUOTE(JimH @ Mar 2, 2005 -> 02:24 PM) Farmer also suggested the position players are all set. Yea... I did also.
  16. QUOTE(thomsonmi @ Mar 2, 2005 -> 02:16 PM) Konerko tearing the cover off the ball so far according to Rooney. Juiced..
  17. QUOTE(JimH @ Mar 2, 2005 -> 01:07 PM) I was talking to quick, I thought you guys pay $15 this year and drive up cash parking is $17 ... I'm looking at the invoice right now and it says $1053 for parking..? Maybe the tenure has something to do with it..?
  18. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Mar 2, 2005 -> 01:05 PM) Ya, it was either 15 or 16 for us last year. Weird....
  19. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Mar 2, 2005 -> 01:03 PM) .....isn't that special.
  20. QUOTE(JimH @ Mar 2, 2005 -> 01:00 PM) Season ticketholders always get a discount on parking. Last year I paid $13 and walk up parking was $15 I believe. Really...? We paid $13 all last year and many times we didn't have our pass.
  21. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Mar 2, 2005 -> 12:58 PM) Maybe it is different for season ticketholders? We've never gotten a break in the past... Where does it say it's $17 this year?
  22. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Mar 2, 2005 -> 12:55 PM) April 4th. Not according to my invoice.
  23. Since when is parking $17...?
