That's an interesting way of doing it.

Thank God!! POSTED: 11:07 pm EST December 2, 2004 UPDATED: 11:10 pm EST December 2, 2004 SOMERVILLE, N.J. -- Former NBA star Jayson Williams will face trial again in connection with the shotgun slaying of a limousine driver at his New Jersey mansion. A judge denied requests by Williams' lawyers to dismiss the reckless manslaughter charge. But the judge barred prosecutors from mentioning the basketball player's attempted cover-up of the shooting when the case is retried. Jury selection is set to begin March 7. The 36-year-old former New Jersey Nets star faces a retrial because of a mixed verdict delivered last April. The jury acquitted Williams of the most serious offense, aggravated manslaughter, but deadlocked on the charge of reckless manslaughter. He was convicted of charges stemming from an attempt to conceal the shooting. The defense has maintained the 2002 shooting was purely an accident. Hopefully they get a jury with half a brain this time.

That's not allowed. Sounds like he gets an expense check from his employer.

I didn't think you were calling me a whore.. you don't even know me so that would be, and look, stupid in the eyes of those that do... but no need to explain. If I had an issue with it I would have PM'd you and let you know like I have done with others in the past. My comment about your homework folder was humor, and I'm glad that you didn't find malice in it.

Oh. My bad...
-
I'm going on record as saying he won't. I think they've had enough (and the signing bonus $$ was paid off in July).. I they they will do whatever they can to get him outta here.
-
Addison.. many of us have been wanting/suggesting Aaron to move to RF since Maggs went down.
-
At some point that $5.3 million has got to stop being an excuse. They paid him the $$.. it's gone. They need to move on. To be honest.. I don't even think Joe gives a crap about baseball anymore. Invested right.. that $$ guaranteed he would never have to work a real job ever. Hopefully he was smart with it.

In reality, there are more younger people at WSI. The glaring difference between here and there is that they don't take crap, ban people much faster without giving chances, and don't allow swearing.
-
That's where I stand. If I were a juror on this case they would have been hung, or they would have had to have me removed. I would never vote to kill someone based on the evidence presented.

FWIW, I didn't take anything personal, and certiantly didn't find anything attacking.

Sorry.. but I really don't know where this is coming from. I know exactly what this site is and who posts here and I don't have an issue with it. I certiantly don't have an issue with teenagers.. and I don't believe I did any talking down to anyone, but rather defended myself. I'm not here, or anywhere, to compete with anyone. I post here to post my thoughts and opinions on things.. don't like it, don't read it, don't comment on it. That's how I post.. and it's a pretty good system.. for me. As for WSI, I've been a member there for years and friends with many of them even longer and before ST I was active daily there. I don't see the relevance in my preference to posting here where most posters can shoot the s*** and take a joke without crying that they are being picked on. Nothing personal Addison.. but your assumption is way off base here. But you're entitled.. opinions are like...

Court TV. I didn't hear it.. the girls eating in the lunchroom did and I heard them talking about it. They said Nancy Grace said it.
-
Gotcha. I post here a lot more than there.. and there I am not an active participant in the heavy topics. I read mainly. A lot of smart posters there. They just have a different approach in the way they follow. No BS there.. that's for sure.

You're taking about WSI with this post... ?
-
LOL.. the "older crowd". I post at both. I wasn't aware there were age limits..
-
Jim just mentioned getting the "dinner party" together again this past weekend. Him and JH didn't get a chance to talk much at pooch day so he wants to see him again also. Friday or Saturday night? We're there both.

Yea.. that lucky dog. I tell ya what though.. I should kick RPS's ass for the "doable" title. He's caused me a bunch of trouble with the little ones on this site..
-
Did they mention that it's a removable walking cast.
-
LMAO... Like I said.. Tis the season..
-
Which is probabably why those with hard heads have trouble comprehending.
-
No problem on the tangent. DP is a pretty emotional subject. Appreciate the opinion.

I know. An oxy-moron. At least I didn't say honesty. But seriously.... I really do wish they were not being so ignorant to the Peterson family. They didn't kill Laci, and unless they've worn those shoes.. they, IMO, don't have any place talking about how the Peterson's should or should not be acting. I don't agree with it (the way they profess Scott's innocence because I believe he did it) but I understand why they do it. Unconditional parental love. Such a terrible tragedy for all involved.

Gotcha. And for the record.. I don't disagree with what was said.. but I think a tv anchor saying it is out of line. Some of them are so wrapped up in this case that they've thrown all professionalism out the window.
