I understand ozzie wants macks bat in games. But put him in for gooch/pods/crede if he plays a crapload of games in a row.. I mean.... Its Obvious and its been obvious he can't handle CF and todays game might be the highlight of the year for this where the 2nd batter in the game makes ozzie pay. Now, since this is the most glaring play so far this year, early so its easy to see, Will HE LEARN......I think he keeps doing it until one more screwup. -

this is gonna be a tough game to watch. It was so obvious things were feeling yuckie on macks first play (which i don't blame him for). Gotta Have That Lefty/Righty Matchup Right? -

QUOTE(shawnhillegas @ Aug 4, 2006 -> 06:23 PM) the jays announcers are good. they were spot on with that call -
Its only 1 inning but Lester is getting rocked again, 3 runs in the 1st inning with 35 pitches thrown. This would be 3 straight bad outings for him and a bad start to the non-varitek august.

QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Aug 2, 2006 -> 06:04 PM) The TWins came back Santana's last start. It was the game that Bonderman was rolling in until the 8th inning when the Twins came from behind to win. my bad you are correct. Twins 2 BAD loses at home where they have been SO hot last 2 months -

well as soon as i write that, he leaves a cookie up in the strike zone and cuddyer puts it off the baggie in right, double well thats funny mourneu grounds out to the 1st baseman who actually doesn't make a error Well i'm out to lunch, don't need to watch much for a while. GREAT 4 innings. yippee -

QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Aug 2, 2006 -> 01:21 PM) Liriano sitting out today proves to be costly. Its huge b/c santana lost his last start.. at least the team did i think, now this game. thats gonna cost them bigtime. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Aug 2, 2006 -> 01:22 PM) There are only 2 errors on the scoreboard. One credited to Morneau, one Credited to Punto. Well punto made a throw that was low i guess.. but it was still mourneu's falt. All 3 plays that were f'ed up were b/c of the canadian. 2 on balls that he didn't pick and one on a groundball to his right -

MOURNEU AGAIN with an error! 3 now... i don't know if they counted the first one as a hit or error, it was a slow dribbler that i don't know if they woulda got the runner anyway -

Liard with a BIG double to drive in guys on 1st and 2nd. Kinsler got a single with a dribbler up the middle that mourneu didn't handle at first on the play before... lucky breaks and twins not getting em Mourneu with ANOTHER error/on a groundball to his right, liard scores. Now young with a double to drive in Gary M. Jr. WoW the error proves COSTLY for the twins here -

Don't know if i heard right but i think they said gardenhire is sick and not going with team to next roadtrip or something like that.. i could be wrong on that, was confusing jesus kip is puttin in strikes that just aren't being called, another one that is a puzzling ball WOW lonnggg at bat ends with a strikeout, throw em out by texas. 3rd! DP already for them, twins sent the runner 3or4 straight times on 3-2 pitches -

QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 1, 2006 -> 10:41 PM) Non-Sox...I didn't think it was possible, but ESPN literally showed Ortiz having an infield hit, even though the Red Sox got hammered tonight. That was the only highlight they showed in the segment about the standings. Umm the beginning of sportscenter showed yanks first then sox game where i remember seeing a sizemore hit, steal, a homer by blake.. and other stuff. So even though espn usually sucks it wasn't like your saying. Baseball tonight is in 15 min though and should be decent with white sox win If you got mlb.tv the Oak-LAA game is quite intresting, solid pitching game if you wanna remember what that looks like -

Just glad to see us win a game where it seemed REAL bad at one point 1st and 3rd 1 out. Then get the Job Done. Other than the G-Load slam this is only the 2nd time this has happened since forever ago, great game -
Gotta believe bobby just didn't care with the 3 run lead until he got in trouble, alot of closers do that, then buckle down, good to see him come back there
-
That was a 3 run lead fastball, fastball
