  1. wow that was lucky.....i can guarentee a broken bat blooper now.
  2. QUOTE(hitlesswonder @ Apr 1, 2008 -> 10:24 PM) Pat Forde on ESPN suggested that Bruce Weber might replace Crean at Marquette. It would be a good move for Weber; he loves Milwaukee and the job would be a step up. But I would think Marquette would go after Bennett. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Keep Bam at Illanoy, he keeps them horrid.
  3. From what I have been told by Marquette fans they are very happy to get rid of him. Crean cannot recruit big men or teach big men to anyone taller than 6"8. Indiana should have gotten Lon Kruger.
  4. QUOTE(rangercal @ Apr 1, 2008 -> 02:13 PM) I miss Bill Self Damn Webber annoys me But you guys are building for a 2011 Final Four.
  5. QUOTE(Felix @ Apr 1, 2008 -> 02:04 PM) I guess I have to be specific about that comment being towards Bill Self, my mistake. oh yeah its about freaking time for Mr. Self.
  6. QUOTE(BurlyMan56 @ Mar 31, 2008 -> 10:31 PM) Perhaps, this is too early, but I like the idea of Swisher batting lead off. I like Cabrera in the two hole. Thome 3rd, Konerko 4th, Dye 5th, AJ 6th, Crede/A-Ram 7th, and Crede/A-Ram 8th and Jerry Owens 9th. Yes, Jerry Owens batting ninth and not lead off. If he gets on at the bottom of the order, he can create a little havoc and make the pitcher feel uneasy rather than have the relative ease of making Juan Uribe look stupid. He wouldn't have the pressure of having to set the table yet for the big guys, leaving it to Swisher to get on base. He still steals bases while being at the bottom of the order, distracts the pitchers giving Swisher even better pitches and at-bats. Yes, Swisher could have more RBI chances in the 6th hole but his OBP might go to waste with our bottom of the order. Swisher gets on base and we have to hope that Crede/Ramirez or Uribe drives him in? Owens can be the second leadoff hitter that gets on base, distracts the pitcher, steals bases and runs them well. Owens steals second and a Swisher single drives him in. Cabrera does the little things right to advance both runners giving way to the big guys. Plus, it's another way to get Uribe out of the lineup. Feel free to rip the idea or support it, wondering what you guys think. It probably wont happen but I like the idea. LF Swisher SS Cabrera DH Thome 1B Konerko RF Dye C AJ 3B Crede 2B Ramirez CF Owens I like, turns the lineup over. Now get rid of Crede.
  7. QUOTE(GreatScott82 @ Mar 31, 2008 -> 05:44 PM) thats a bit premature. Massett proved more than worthy he can be the long man. Boone was solid... And Dotel although gave up those hits was still one pitch away from getting out of it... I would be more concerned with the Starting pitching. Our offense and defense will be fine... Yes this is true,and Boone's beard is awesome.
  8. I really loved watching the enthusiasm of Swisher and Cabrera, but the bullpen sucks again for us.
  9. I believe this will be the worst white sox team in club history.
  10. QUOTE(daa84 @ Mar 31, 2008 -> 02:10 PM) im so glad ozzie and kenny deciding to play these guys over the superior players we have on the bench/in AAA True dat
  11. QUOTE(Felix @ Mar 30, 2008 -> 08:53 PM) Congrats on finally making there Finally????I guess the previous 12 did not count.
  12. QUOTE(Palehosefan @ Mar 31, 2008 -> 12:23 AM) Yep, Roy cried like a baby after 05. So I would love to see that as well :-P. Roy always cries, win or loss. I think they just blew the first foul on Darrell Arthur for breathing too hard on Hansbrough.
  13. QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Mar 30, 2008 -> 11:04 PM) This may have been mentioned but the one thing I thought was really cool about Davidson in the regional was... The school paid for any student that wanted to go. They paid for their ticket, a bus to Detroit and hotel for two nights. Obviously being such a small school allows them to do so, but I have never heard of a school basically providing the whole trip to any student that wanted to go. Nice move by the Davidson administration. It is gonna be a long bus ride home!!
  14. QUOTE(Felix @ Mar 29, 2008 -> 09:31 AM) Kansas is most likely to lose because they are Kansas. I'm going with 2 making it. FU
  15. QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Mar 30, 2008 -> 06:17 PM) My brother was pissed they lost. He's going to South Dakota more than likely and he said this might be the only championship he'd get to see them win. Im taking the 5th...so much to say here.
