  1. QUOTE(ROC Sox Fan @ Jul 19, 2007 -> 11:56 PM) Hahahaha I'm talking way too much s*** to back it up with our bullpen right now to a Red Sox fan. LOL
  2. Great catch by Owens! What the hell is with Bukvich's control... I have no idea how he got out of that.
  3. The NESN announcers keep calling Bukvich "Bootvuch"
  4. I think it is funny, after that ad Nike ran in Japan with AJ and Dice-K, that AJ has all of the hits off of Dice-K tonight. (http://www.soxtalk.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=57769)
  5. QUOTE(briguy27 @ Jul 19, 2007 -> 11:09 PM) Same I want to go to Camden next year. My dad and I go to 2 Sox road series' a year. This year it was @Pirates and @Royals. I want next year's to be @Blue Jays (damn ticket prices), @Indians, or @Orioles next year. Photos from last weekend: http://photos.vanerem.com/camden_yards/
  6. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Jul 19, 2007 -> 10:44 PM) quick poll: Would you rather watch Pods, erstad, or Owens lead off for the duration of the year? Pods, when healthy.
  7. QUOTE(briguy27 @ Jul 19, 2007 -> 10:31 PM) Did you experience these "douches" at Fenway Park, or somewhere else? And if it was at Fenway, how did you like the park in general? I haven't been to Fenway, though my friend who was just there last year said that it is a great park, so just my general experience with Boston fans in the various places I've lived. (Only kinda related, I was just to Camden Yards this last weekend for the Sox/O's series... It is really nice, and I had a great time!)
  8. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Jul 19, 2007 -> 10:15 PM) The fan yelling AJs name during his swing is a douche. Yeah well, in my experience, most Boston fans are.
  9. Is it just me, or does the crowd at Fenway think every BoSox pop-fly is going yard?
  10. QUOTE(briguy27 @ Jul 19, 2007 -> 09:56 PM) Sox have no chance. The Red Sox at Fenway are just too tough. Umm... ask the Royals about that.
  11. QUOTE(StrangeSox @ Jul 19, 2007 -> 09:10 PM) I forget how obnoxious Boston fans are. Particularly when it comes to balls and strikes. Jussssssssst a bit outside.....
  12. When he gets within one they are going to bench him so he can hit it in SF.
  13. Maybe this is naive of me, but if the Sox bullpen was only kinda awful, instead of completely awful, this would have been a three-game sweep.
  14. QUOTE(fathom @ Jul 13, 2007 -> 05:54 PM) You're right: Selig-zilla will never allow it to happen. And JR doesn't like him either. Cuban to the Cubs would be awful for the Sox. Yeah, JR would never allow that guy in to the city.
  15. This place is like crack, and I've been jonesing for a fix! Thanks for all the updates/upgrades!
  16. Hello? Is this thing on? Wow, and nothing is lost either! Awesome!
  17. Good start to the second-half... Sadly it doesn't seem to matter if the offense wakes up if the bullpen remains so bad.
  18. Yeah, I was busy doing somethings during the game, but for the most part, other than the bullpen obviously, things looked pretty good tonight.
  19. So we basically need our starters to pitch complete games every start....
