Way to take a walk Rob. And for the record - I think Mackowiak is a brutal CF'er but I don't blame him one bit for his struggles. He's a decent corner outfielder and infielder but is so misused by Ozzie it's not funny. I'm sure many feel the same way but at times I feel bad for getting pissed at Rob when he screws up.

This team is going to give me an aneurism, I just don't know how much more of this I can take. I might need a break. At this point I'm starting to think Freddy is trying to suck.

I'm in... although I'm not nearly as confident about them making the playoffs this year compared to last year.

This is embarrassing, these guys are professionals - they should be ashamed at their performance lately. So much of this struggle is avoidable (poor approach at the plate, focus in the field) you'd think they'd pull out of it for pride's sake. But I thought the same thing last week against KC... and I was as wrong then as I am now. As much as I love this team, they sure do know how to frustrate me more than any other team I cheer for (that's saying something coming from a NY Giants fan).

This team needs a kick in the rear. Ozzie needs to lose it or something. Bad approach hitting, poor intensity and focus all around - exemplified by Uribe this inning.

Poor pitching and inconsistent hitting is not a recipe to success. We need to get out of this rut - we don't have the luxury of a 10 game lead like last year.
