And that is the scariest part of Maggs hitting streak is that I don't think he is locked in yet. He has just become that good of a hitter, that even not hot, he is still better than most.
The newspaper said the gun at Camden clocked Koch at 95mph, which is still about 5 mph below where he should be. There might be some warning signs that something is wrong IMO.
I don't care what he is hitting if he is costing us potential runs with a lazy attitude. That is the kind of stuff players can control and will save us runs against in the long run.

no comments on this stuff anyone? I had never heard anything about speed use in baseball, but I guess it shouldn't surprise me. Something to get your more aware and locked in would be perfect for hitters espesially.
