  1. Man, I want them to win this game. But I can't be mad if they lose because the comeback was unreal. Please win, White Sox. Make it one for the ages.
  2. As a lifelong Sox fan, these last two games have been amazing to watch. The only sad thing is that tomorrow's (and the rest of the week's) news is going to be all about Ozzie's mouth, instead of about how great the Sox are playing. And how weak the National League in general is.
  3. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ May 20, 2006 -> 08:06 PM) Anderson came out of the dugout fists-a- flayling, but I just expect that out of BA, Remember, Anderson was the batter -- so he was coming back from first base after his sac fly. Which makes his effort even more commendable. He got an RBI and slugged two Cubs all on the same play. Well done, BA!
  4. Maybe I'm being optimistic, but this has the feeling of a Defining Moment for this team. You can just hear the narrator on the 2006 World Champions' video intoning: "Any doubts about the chemistry and resolve of the 2006 version of the White Sox were removed during a game against the Cubs on a sun-dappled Saturday afternoon in May." Re: suspensions -- There is no way AJ should lose any games. He did absolutely nothing wrong. I understand why he was ejected today, but a suspension? Uh-uh. Anderson, on the other hand, will probably get 3-5 games -- deservedly so, in my opinion. He threw the first punch against Mabry. But I love his attitude. If this gives him the kickstart to turning around his season, it will be worth it. Barrett obviously has issues. He should get at least 10 games. I didn't see anything that Mabry did to deserve a suspension. He seemed to be more in a "break-it-up" posture before Anderson socked him. What a fun day for a Sox fan.
  5. I thought it was pretty funny that they gave Steve Stone the bum's rush to put on a drunken Bernie Mac (and his crappy cell phone connection).
  6. Juan Pierre has a tiny head.
  7. Wow, DJ is doing some serious analyzing here about the Cubbies. He has improved so much over the last few years.
  8. Douple play! Man, is this game going according to script or what?
  9. LET THE LEGEND OF IGUCHI SPREAD THOUGHOUT THE LAND!!!
  10. All right, Freddie. Now let's get the offense going again. Time to put the hammer down.
  11. Grand Slam!!! That's what great teams do baby!!!! Way to go, Gooch!!!
  12. So AJ gets ejected, too? What a joke. I hope his jaw didn't hurt Barrett's hand.
  13. Excellent game, Mark! That's an outstanding start to this series. Let's sweep 'em!
  14. Keep hitting it to Joe, Cubbies!
