  3. QUOTE (Markbilliards @ Jul 6, 2008 -> 07:49 PM) I strongly disagree with all of you. Dye has been very good for us this year, but he does not deserve to get voted in over Longoria. The all star game is made so worthless by all the fan voting. Because the players who are more well liked (usually due to what team they're on) are the ones who become all stars, not the ones who deserve it per their performance on the year. Vote Longoria. If you vote a player in just because he plays for your team than you are just as bad as all those people who voted for the Boston/Yankee players like crazy. The all star game should be a matter of performance, not popularity. Now some could make an argument that Dye is more deserving than Longoria, if you really feel that way than vote for him. But considering that Evan started the year after Dye, and has played GG caliber defense, you gotta put him in there over JD. You must be a Flubs fan in men's clothes.

  5. QUOTE (Reddy @ Jul 8, 2008 -> 11:35 AM) have we talked to them? They helped us out last night. One down, two to go. Red AND White.
  6. If nothing else, we could get a job as code breakers from reading those ignorant codes.
  7. QUOTE (lord chas @ Jul 7, 2008 -> 09:43 AM) can they make the validation codes any freakin harder to read? Reading my mind, are you?lol
  8. I'm a Nam vet. My comment has nothing whatsoever to do with anyone in the service however, those were some yugly unis. That was also some yugly throwing by Buehrle.
  9. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Jun 3, 2008 -> 07:24 PM) Did you poke the wrong hole in your ballot? There are times when this has happeneed in the back seat.
  10. I voted for the first time in 1960 election. I'm 69 and have never been this old before. I've seen so much in my lifetime, including Nam, etc that, I am totally disgusted with each and every one of these lying thieves. There is not one of them who is actually for us, the REAL American people. There is not one of these sleazeballs who tells the truth about anything. In the last couple of years I've gotten to the point where I work a few hours a week and golf at least every other day. As an illustration about how I see these azzclowns and their lies, when it comes to sports, I watch the games. Everything else is like listening to gay fairyotti lisp about the Sox. There is no substance, no reality and no original genuineness. I have a pretty damn good life which was built by myself in spite of the govt interference, etc. At this point I realize that I might have about 10 years left in which time I might still be able to kick someone else's azz without falling out of my walker so, I'm bringin' it and not buying into the BS. For those of you who are still pretty damn young, I feel bad for you because you will never know what true freedom was. A good analogy of how the U.S. has become is being in a moderated forum which controls and censors everything you attempt to post. And, I am NOT alluding to this place, rather I am merely using that as an example.
  11. I lost this place. I haven't been in here since last season which sucked however, I'm still here waiting for my lifelong dream of seing us beat the Flubs in the WS in 4, 5, 6 or 7 games.
  12. This is obviously a cub~~ http://www.theonion.com/content/node/50038
  13. Watching that at flubs park is like watching the Bears beqat the pukers here in WI. And, AJ was the right guy to hit it!! BTW-Cotts really worked hard for that win, one whole pitch.
  14. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Nov 16, 2005 -> 08:09 PM) It wouldn't let me vote in Firefox...when i switched to IE it worked fine... I have IE and it still won't let me vote.
  15. QUOTE(Takatsufan @ Nov 16, 2005 -> 07:47 PM) Take a look. The TYIB Award page will come up. Go to Plays, then Joe Crede's home run on Spetember 20th, the read the caption. I'm at a loss for words. http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/mlb/awards/y.../tyib/index.jsp How long do we have to put up with this? I couldn't get it to show all the plays or play any of them.
  16. QUOTE(fathom @ Oct 29, 2005 -> 02:33 PM) PK's agent was saying how great of a fit the Red Sox were for PK today. Spinning for dollars.
  17. QUOTE(drowninginflame @ Oct 29, 2005 -> 04:07 PM) I love manny, I'd love for him to be our DH But, could Ozzie get him to bathe?
  18. QUOTE(Punch and Judy Garland @ Oct 28, 2005 -> 01:34 AM) I think it would take away from the World Series a bit to have them face Japan right after. I think the players would have zero interest in doing it. I think plyaing from February until nearly November means they want and deserve a break. I hate the idea of 18 MORE innings on Buehrle's arm too. I agree about it taking away from the WS.
  19. I was listening to some mouth on espn radio today who was talking about how foxsports said that the WS ratings are down because it's not the yankoffs & deadsox. What do thay expect when 8 out of every 10 games they both show are those two? I hope we sweep so we don't have to listen to joe schmuck & mc blabber. I can't wait to hear all the whining about how we won on bad calls & luck.
  20. We've got the umps in our pocket~~~~ http://media.putfile.com/BaseballInThePocket/320
  21. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Oct 13, 2005 -> 09:01 PM) Ok, I used a different program. No silly little text over the middle of the screen... Also, I cut the filesize down to about 10MB. http://s53.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2LLUQSE...R43OKX1LUOCV9CD Missed it. They limit downloads to 25.
  22. QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Oct 23, 2005 -> 10:32 AM) To make it worse, they made us suffer through Liz Phair. :puke Seriously, how do people continue to let her make records?? The guy who did the national anthem was ok, kinda boring, but at least stayed in tune. Listening to her was like playing a tape too slow.
  23. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Oct 23, 2005 -> 10:29 AM) Happy birthday... Thanks for the pics.
