  1. QUOTE(tealeafreaderii @ Apr 21, 2007 -> 02:01 PM) so are the easiest outs in baseball the eleven following a grand slam? looks like that grand slam has made Detroit complacent at the bat. kinda like when a football team scores first and then relaxes, thinking it will be easy all game. Jose had something to do with it as well.
  2. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Apr 21, 2007 -> 02:01 PM) Contreras actually looking like he'll go deep into this game. That's nice. Some runs, please? just scored 3. dont be greedy with this team
  3. for some reason the way Paulie reaches down to catch balls at first base annoys me. its like he just bends over and doesnt ever reach on low throws.
  4. QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Apr 21, 2007 -> 01:56 PM) NSBB. I suppose she posted it in her profile pictures album. I don't have an account, but I guess she has some other good ones. that is why you make your page private! lol too bad it isnt a photobucket pic. then we could go searching for others, maybe more revealing lol
  5. I dont mind Juan getting out as much as HOW he gets out. dammit
  6. chances Juan will be swinging for the fences only to pop out to shallow left
  7. damn, you would think we were playing the field this inning
  8. QUOTE(fathom @ Apr 21, 2007 -> 01:23 PM) I thought it's whoever is playing CF for the White Sox? touche
  9. QUOTE(tealeafreaderii @ Apr 21, 2007 -> 01:22 PM) Contreras getting the next two out provides some hope... the easiest out to get in baseball is the one after a grand slam
  10. wow, this game is over. once again, Jose shows he cant pitch against good hitting teams
  11. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Apr 20, 2007 -> 09:02 PM) You have your slow DH run on a flyball shallow. Oh and BTW, My uniform said Saint Xavier University, what did yours say. Seminole CC and Dr. Phillips High in Orlando. the same school that AJP and Damon came from. so where's the ownage?
  12. QUOTE(fathom @ Apr 20, 2007 -> 09:01 PM) It was a pop up to the 2nd baseman with a slow guy on 3rd base. You should never, ever send a guy in that situation unless the 2nd baseman has an arm like Pods or Shannon Stewart. the ball was in shallow right field. Thome is only out with a good throw. so you send him. rather take my chances on a throw up the line than Mack driving him in.
  13. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Apr 20, 2007 -> 08:58 PM) Okie Dokie Joey, get back to the bench. I remember hearing this quote last year, when Cora was getitng people thrown out at home by half a baselline. you have to take that chance, especially with 2 outs. the team had 3 chances to get that runner in before the tag up. I swear, I wonder how many have ever put on a uniform at any level before.
  14. I dont mind sending Thome. only a good throw gets him. rather take that chance than a 2 out hit with this team.
  15. A-Rod got an error for the missed pop-up against TB on opening day and he didnt touch it.
  16. QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Apr 20, 2007 -> 08:33 PM) It cannot be an error unless someone touches it. Horrible rule, should be changed. lol, it can be an error. so if a ball goes through the legs of someone and it doesnt touch anything, then its a hit?
