  1. How long does it usually take for the cheesy synthesized guitar music to start playing when Griffey is playing? Because the verbal blow job Hawk is giving him is pornographic.

  3. This guy is fricken delusional. Perhaps someone should point out the Sox record to Kenny Williams. If he thinks two players can be the difference between winning and losing 90 games in MLB, he is, as many have suspected for a long time, a fricken idiot. 2005 was a great year but apparently, Williams is not the genius architect he portrayed himself to be. He was just one lucky SOB.
  4. Go to the bottom of the page and hit slide show. Sniff, sniff. Sad.
  5. LoL, ok. Not Samardzija then. He was the only player I could think of in the Cubs minor leagues.
  6. What about Jeff Samardzija? He is sucking big time in the minors but he was supposed to be pretty good going into the draft. Last I saw he was 0-5 in A ball with a 5+ ERA. I'd rather see the Bears get Samardzija than the Sox but....
  7. I'd rather have Bruno Bartucci cook me a meal than Roy Rivas. I miss Feebs.
  8. Great day. The Sox looked interested again when the they went into the dugout after the game. They looked like they were having fun. Is that a spark? Maybe. Is that enough of a spark? Probably not. But the Indians closed a looser gap in less time and damn near won it in 2005. The 69' Mets... there is hope. We all knew this team was better than what we have gotten so far. One interesting note about the NTC in his contract is that regardless, he can't be traded to a short list of teams. I doubt you will ever find out the teams on that list but I would be willing to bet that three of them are the Mets, the Red Sox and the Yankees. Mark is a Midwest guy. He is the definition of 'face value'. The east coast media and the 'what have you done for me lately' attitude make my stomach turn. For a guy who likes to roll across a wet tarp during a rain delay, the east coast would make his skin crawl. I am speculating, of course, but that is just my gut. Being a Cardinal fan, I wonder if he crossed the Cubs off the list too. Hmmm....
  9. If they don't take 3 of 4 against Baltimore and sweep the Indians, the Sox won't make a historic run. We will know pretty early if there is any hope at all.
  10. Just checking in from a long day on the road. Am I seeing things or did the Twins just hang 32 runs on our sorry asses in ONE day? I have tickets for tomorrow (I can't use, BTW) and I have family coming Sunday. Cub fans will be in attendance. Do I have to put up with this?
  11. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jul 5, 2007 -> 02:34 AM) O I'm confused. Sweeney kicked ass in Charlotte all month and was not recently sent down. (definitely not his 4th game back). Oops. May. 26 - 3:16 pm et. Old news. It was the last thing Roto had on him.
  12. Ryan Sweeney went 5-for-5 and homered Friday in his fourth game back at Triple-A Charlotte. Sweeney was 3-for-15 in the first three games after being sent down by the White Sox.
  13. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jun 27, 2007 -> 08:43 PM) Lead-off walk. Oh yeah...
  14. QUOTE(winninguglyin83 @ Jun 27, 2007 -> 08:40 PM) Buehrle or the pen in the 8th? Can we trade Mark for a set-up guy in time to pitch this inning? Doooogal. Baseball should be 7 innings.
