  1. Gavin Floyd turned his ankle in and intersquad game and had to leave... so I wouldn't count on seeing him anytime too.
  2. Is there a reason why Ozzie sent vasquez back in with 100+ pitches and then watched him load the bases, without pulling him?
  3. QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Sep 16, 2006 -> 06:02 PM) The only way I'll feel better is if Baltimore and Cleveland can win. I'll feel better if crede gets on and uribe hits a homer
  4. QUOTE($I Need Money$ @ Sep 16, 2006 -> 05:50 PM) and we got rid of frank thomas for THOME?? I didn't here you complaining a month ago...
  5. QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 16, 2006 -> 05:50 PM) Why not use Gload here? After all his other great moves, my guess is Ozzie is a little gun shy.
  6. come on folks... down 2... man on... with the captain up... get excited!
  7. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 11:44 PM) Sadly the one guy I'd love to see face Street was pinch hit for last inning. .... if Mack got a chance to see him again the game would already be decided....
  8. QUOTE(SoxHawk1980 @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 11:34 PM) This just isn't the year for the Sox. You don't exactly have to be Kreskin to read the tea leaves here. I disagree. Reading TeaLeaves is difficult business.
  9. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 11:14 PM) McDougal, Thornton, anyone that isnt a contact pitcher. Isn't Doogie hurt?
  10. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 11:10 PM) Neal still in. It wont end 3-2. yeah, maybe we should just slit our wrists.
  11. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 10:57 PM) The appendage aware manager just put in a lefty who cant get lefties out and has control problems. I figure the end result will be a walk, a hit batsman or a dong. As McLaughlin would say…. “WRONG”
  12. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 10:57 PM) Jon has been bad, but worked his ass off. Let him finish. I cant beleive this. his pitch count is up there though...
  13. QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 10:52 PM) Someone asked me this question the other day, and I wasn't sure what the answer would be: would the Sox have been better this year if they would have basically kept last year's team in tact? not the bullpen...
  14. the GF just picked up a sixer of petes wicked Rally Cap Ale (it was on sale)... I bet if I can finish it off by the ninth a victory is guaranteed... here goes nothing
  15. QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 10:49 PM) I'm not ready to argue who's better this year, Frank or Thome. The one thing I'll say is that Thomas is swinging the bat significantly better than Thome down the stretch. Thomas has been swinging the bat better then everyone not named howard during the past month...
  16. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 10:45 PM) Time for Thome to use that wooden stick thingy he brings up to the plate to drive in the next run. a misshapen cane?
  17. QUOTE(mr_genius @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 10:40 PM) yea! pods! now is the perfect time to get caught stealing double steal with uribe leading the way?
  18. Except for the last start, where he crapped his pants, Esteban has been on a roll for like 9 games. Isn't it possible that he is just pitching well... and the white sox aren't terrible pieces of crap?
