Hell, even Grichuk at leadoff vL is a decent option. He has been a surprise to me so far, not the typical trash heap filler we've tried to plug in.

He has definitely struggled there vL, but I'm willing to let him at least try it a bit. Otherwise I know we have to use Chase basically.

Also, Sam should be in the leadoff spot permanently, until he proves otherwise.

Let’s maybe let him continue to be in the top rated AAA ballpark for hitters a wee bit longer, before we crown him the replacement for someone in Chicago. He didn’t just become a power hitter coincidentally at the same time he went to the hitter friendly Charlotte park.

Yeah, up until this 2 month stretch, Gonzalez has done virtually nothing to warrant a call up in seasons past. Let’s see him do it for a longer stretch before saying he should be on the big league team. I’m a Rikku fan, so I’m glad to see him get a shot.
