  1. I'm not going to argue that this is acceptable, but I still contend that we do add enough impact players on the cheap through other avenues. We just do things a bit unorthodox.
  2. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 17, 2011 -> 09:00 PM) What they need to do is find a way to get Omar off the roster. Couldn't agree with that more, but you know we're stuck with him for the remainder of this year. And the more Gordo struggles, the more Omar will play.
  3. Oh Gordon...Do you believe in Miracles?
  4. Nice to see Alexei squaring it up again
  5. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Aug 17, 2011 -> 08:49 PM) No chance with this lineup. Lucy, Beckham, Morel and Dunn? May as well have had 4 NL pitchers in there. There's just no way this team is going to go on the run with so many replacement or below replacement level players offensively. Well hopefully Lucy won't play much.
  6. I love how just now we start laying off this s***.
  7. Oh well...just bounce back tomorrow, fellas. Continue winning series'.
  8. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Aug 17, 2011 -> 08:41 PM) I'll be filing for a White Sox divorce if that happens. I'll claim intellectual incompatibility Maybe they could just wait til June to begin playing him.
  9. QUOTE (Real @ Aug 17, 2011 -> 08:38 PM) Dance puppet, dance. Go piss in someone else's Cheerios.
  10. QUOTE (Real @ Aug 17, 2011 -> 08:36 PM) this offense is what it is, not surprised we'll be sub 500 next week Always a beacon of light.
  11. Twins win 6-5. Nathan gets Avila to end the game on a strikeout.
  12. Two down, runner at first for Avila.
  13. 6-5 Twins, Miggy on first, 1 out for Rayburn
  14. Come on Morneau, you weak sack of s***
  15. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 17, 2011 -> 08:15 PM) I would much rather he hit .208 if it meant 10-15 homers. Oh I agree.
  16. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 17, 2011 -> 08:12 PM) Another defensive swing by Morel in a hitter's count. That's why you have two homers on the season. And why his average is what it is. He rarely tries to actually drive the ball except to right field. If he ever opened it up a bit, he'd probably be hitting .208
  17. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 17, 2011 -> 08:09 PM) Nishioka makes our hitters look studly...what a bust so far for the Twins. Bases loaded no outs for the Twins though
  18. Q is so frustrating when he gets in these funks
  19. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 17, 2011 -> 07:41 PM) Did you notice that also? He wouldn't have caught it, but it took him forever to get to the ball, allowing Santana to score without drawing a throw.
