Technology catch-all thread
QUOTE (SoxFanForever @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 09:00 PM) Ok, so I've had the Incredible for around 2-3 months now and not had any issues. Recently I've been having issues with battery life. At first I was convinced it was just an app that was draining the battery on me. I deleted numerous apps, checked to see if it was the issue with the phone not going to "sleep" when idle, factory reset twice and still it won't hold a charge. I had it sit on the charger all night last night and it was at about 65% when I woke up this morning. By the time I got to work (40 minutes later) it was alreadf into the low 20% range. Anyone encountered anything like this at all? I'm wondering if it's just a bad battery, the phone or something else. I'm tempted to take it in to the store tomorrow. Take it back...you've got a bad battery.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 09:38 PM) Thank you, Dr. Moderator. WTF. How does being in Cleveland mean a player doesn't need twitter? How have I acted like Sam Smith? You are going to really hate it when I suspend your ass on Thursday at 8pm central.

QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 10:18 PM) ugh leadoff hit for the Angels and NO ONE is warming up. Are you seriously a doctor? I'm not, but I would prescribe you some kind of sedative... Kidding Fath, you know you're one of my favs...

QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 10:15 PM) yes, when I thought it was his elbow. Give me some credit, I said after watching the replay again, I thought there was a slight chance it was his side. Well about 5 of us thought there was a chance of that. You were answering people in the affirmative that he blew out his elbow. Let's just get him back in late July and we'll be fine.

QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 10:12 PM) That muscle for a pitcher, if he strained it, will be difficult for him to pitch until it heals. Likely 2-5 week recovery time, and that's coming from a doctor! 2-5 weeks is fine. 10 minutes ago, you were telling us 2012.

QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 10:09 PM) that's fantastic, if true. Not easy to recover from that, but it won't require surgery. Are you serious, Dr Fathom?

QUOTE (Real @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 09:55 PM) Except that he grabbed his Bicep according to Farmer, which is what I'm basing this off of, and not just pure speculation Please don't even speculate. You're not a doctor; you are completely shooting in the dark. Next thing you know Peavy has a biceps tear and I read it at sox talk.com

QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 09:45 PM) Let me ask you this: if you were watching the Red Sox and Yankees play, and you saw Beckett throw a pitch and walk off with the same reaction, wouldn't your first thought be "hello Tommy John" Yes. But I wouldn't go on Son of Sam Horn and tell everyone that I was certain he needed TJ surgery, is the point I am trying to get across.

QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 09:43 PM) I'm 100 percent sure he told Ozzie/Hermie "it popped", which is why they just turned around and walked into the dugout right away. And you may be correct. But neither of you should be posting that you are 99% sure of anything or answering questions in the affirmative that he threw his elbow out when you are purely guessing. Let's just wait for more info.

QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 09:42 PM) Have you ever pulled your oblique in that area? It's impossible to even stand up straight, it's that painful. Yes, I sure have, and yes, you can stand and walk. It's twisting that makes it hurt. You have no idea whether he "threw out" his elbow or not.

No offense Fathom or BearSox, but neither of you have a f***ing clue what it is right now. None of us do.
