It is a shame Ryan Sweeney's MLB debut is as a pinch runner. It should have been as the LF in tonights game.

seriously, does anyone think Thome is healthy yet? Hasn't looked good since that hammy injury. And yesterdays homerun wasn't that impressive.

Why did we even call up Sweeney if he isn't going to play? This is bulls***. Sorry, but it is. We are facing a mediocre pitcher, at best, and with Podsednik still sucking it up and still playing horrible D, he gets the start over Sweeney. This is really starting to piss me off. Either play him, or let him develop more in AAA some more.

I did not notice Jon Garland is tied for the MLB lead in wins, and has a winning % of .800. I did not realize this until today. IMO, he is quietly having a great year. After having a horrible start to the season, he has improved greatly, and racking up wins. I hope I didn't just jinx him, but then again, we're not the cubs, and I don't believe in jinxes.

I feel pretty confident with Jon Garland on the mound for us. I really, really hope Ryan Sweeney gets the start in LF tonight. But with Ozzie, he will most likely sit BA and start Sweeney in CF, and let Pods start again.
