AJ hit a home run while going 3-4. I didn't watch it, so that's really the only positive I notice.

Be prepared for too much optimism. The Sox were absolutely CRUSHING the ball. If I'm not mistaken several of those deep hits (doubles/fly outs) would have been gone in a couple other parks, but for sure the cell. Not only were they doing this, but it was off good pitching. One strange thing I liked was what OCab did to try to break up that double play. Sure it was stupid, but he obviously wants to win. I guess that's enough optimism for now. Here's to a 161-1 season.

I absolutely love the idea of him batting 9th. Not that I want him in the lineup, but assuming he will be, 9th is a great option. I hate Swish leading off solely because I hate that "wasted" solo shot he may get. But since he only truly leads off once a game, I don't think there's a better fit on the team ahead of him.

Hey since we're still 3 short, I think we should just put a post up on this board that we are. Then maybe we can get someone else to fill at least one spot. If not someone can invite a friend. Just make sure they're ready to be rolled over by a lot of skilled fantasy players.

I'm in as Cowch's Crushers. I have a feeling this league is going to be very competitive.

Childers is definitely not making this team.

I have never posted on this site before, but I have been coming here to get news and other people's views for a long time now. 1) Your relative level of experience-----I have been playing for the past two years. I'm very active and I have an 84% rating in Y! fantasy baseball. It would be higher had Corpas given up one less run on the last day of the year. 2) Your preference in scoring format (head to head or roto)-----Definitely head to head. I can hardly stand roto. 3) Your previous league # and whether or not you want to play in that one again-----I have never been in a soxtalk league. 4) Whether or not you'd be willing to be a commisioner-----No thanks. Also I want to be in a league with the poster above me (BigEdWalsh). Besides wanting to be in a head to head, that is my only other must.
