  1. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 09:42 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> We know it's over now. Hockey talk in the game thread. What has this come to? yea this is sad how bad this team is. im glad we're talking hockey
  2. we should all protest. nobody watch the game tomorrow and put ratings down. then we can all write letters to KW, and write simply FIRE GREG WALKER on some and START THE FIRE SALE on the others, really big on white paper in black crayon
  3. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 09:40 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> //hijack I'm so geeked about the Hawks. I can't wait, there's a chance that the Hawks' last four first round picks are on the ice at the same time -- Kane (if taken), Toews, Skille and Barker. Glad the offseason is officially here. i live in chicago, but im a thashers fan. dont ask why, i just am
  4. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 09:32 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Tampa has one less victory than us. and the cubs and pirates have 1 less victory then us

  6. are we still sure we wouldnt trade dye for abreu?
  7. farmer was sayin on the radio that he had breakfast with the m&ms coat guy this morning. i forget his last name, but his first name is george
  8. QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 09:12 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I am more focused on complaining about A) the lack of offense B ) the big hitters sucking ass C) the bullpen D) the manager and coaches (also hitting coach) E) the gm's offseason acquisitions F) the lack of decent replacements in the minors G) Javy's new deal and the way he pitches ... I think that is it. javys pitching? are u serious? last outing, he went 8 and gave up no runs, and this game, he has given up 4 runs. sure, that isnt GREAT, but with the offense that we should have right now, 4 runs is a good game, b/c konerko, thome, and dye should all be hitting at least 275 right now
  9. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 09:08 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> This game is about to be OVA! Bullpen time. Who will stink it up tonight? boone logan. hes due.
  10. QUOTE(CWSOX45 @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 08:04 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Can someone look up what our record is after trailing by 3 runs? I really am curious.... not sure exactly, but i know we more then likely havent won a game when trailing by 3. forget that, i wonder what the record is when trailing by 4
  11. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 07:17 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Vazquez vs Damon....about time Yanks got some advantage from that match-up. LHH are batting 197 vs vazquez, but after damons double, maybe 200? so i wouldnt call that an advantage
  12. QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Jun 4, 2007 -> 02:11 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sp...-home-headlines nobody will ever be MJ- he's a badass. kobe is the closest its been. with that being said, when u look at jordans stats when he was kobes age and kobes stats now, jordan averaged 2 more in everything then kobe- points, rebounds, assists, and steals. oh and MJ has 3 more rings
  13. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 05:27 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I made an optimistic prediction last night, and it didn't come true. Thus, my pessimistic prediction is that we hit into four double plays tonight. 4? 5.
  14. QUOTE(SoxFanForever @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 05:02 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He was drafted in 2004. and your point is...?
  15. QUOTE(kwolf68 @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 04:28 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I hope Fields is ready, but after the Sweeney, Owens, Buckvich, Day, Wiki, Gonzo experiements I wouldn't be shocked to be counting the days before Crede is healthy and back in the lineup. For the record, Fields is a great kid. Met him at Richmond last year when the Knights played there...very humble, friendly, very polite...I have nothing but admiration for the guy and hope he works out. wiki? but fields is different then gonzalez and sweeney and owens, b/c fields has been in our farm system for what has seemed like 5 years (not sure exactly, anyone know?) and fields was the #2 ranked prospect a couple years back. i would hate to see him do OK, and then get sent down. crede wasnt good when he was called up, it took him this long to be what he is to this day, a good clutch hitter. i hope fields never goes back to AAA, b/c we need to keep him up here forever now, and let him grow in crede. everyone will disagree, but the season is over. lets get these guys experience, and hopefully everything will work out next year for us
  16. QUOTE(Brian @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 04:42 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Score just said Fields is starting and batting 8th.
  17. QUOTE(Jenks Heat @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 04:34 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> and bring Konerko, Uribe and AJ with him. oh and matt inconsistent thornton
  18. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 03:37 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> is that you Ozzie? why do u say that?
  19. how about this lineup for 2008 ichiro CF eckstein 2B thome DH konerko 1B pierzynski C vizquel SS fields 3B sweeney LF terrero RF
  20. lets say we trade crede, keep fields up, release cintron, and pods comes back healthy. what would the lineup be? pods LF iguchi 2B thome DH dye RF pierzynski C konerko 1B fields 3B (whoever we get in the crede trade) CF? uribe SS what do u think of that lineup, and who might we get for crede?
