  1. McCann had such a great swing that year
  2. typical Sox strategy, throw a bunch of unknowns at the problem and then throw their hands up like they can't figure out why they got bounced out of another 1st rd playoff series edit: not saying Conforto is the answer, just to be clear
  3. Robert will need 2 more legs to cover that much ground
  4. cancel culture has always existed, this isn't some new phenomenon
  5. guarantee Manfred is the type to surround himself with yesmen sycophants who never give him the smallest push back on any decision he makes, people like that are spineless cowards
  6. I see the mob is back running professional sports
  7. Lol @ Andruw Jones hitting a HR against TLR in a blow out
  8. I love how Robert seems to be able to produce whatever kind of offense he wants, I'm not used to this 5 tool talent on the Sox, wouldn't be surprised if he ended up with a similar career to Andrew Jones
  9. is he though? compared to other, more talented players? he was the best option on the market for one team, the team who lately seems to be bargain shopping ?
  10. as much as we hear about how valuable Leury is around here, not one single team beat our offer? Lmao
  11. will be interesting to see how Lopez fits into their 2022 plans
  12. https://stathead.com/baseball/player-comparison.cgi?player_id2=bryankr01&type=b&player_id1=confomi01&sum=0&request=1
  13. Imo Kris Bryant makes too much sense for the Sox, he's just an upgraded version of Leury Garcia and would fit perfectly due to his versatility
  14. I would be on the phone with Texas about Kimbrel, they seem to be loosening the purse strings
  15. "Hey Scott, it's Rick Hahn. Wanted to talk to you about Semien." "Hey Rick, how's it going. How's the family?" "For fucks sake, Scott. Why are you so god damned unreasonable?" *click*
  16. I can't be the only person worried about his arm posing a potential injury concern, especially coming off a post season where they were putting him out there more frequently than usual (fewer innings but it's still a change of pace that could affect him in 2022) unless they got him for a friendly deal, I would pass on scherzer. they should've went after him years ago
  17. I see Kimbrel going to an NL team personally
