Well to be fair he has been one of the best pitchers in baseball this season, it wasn't exactly a case of Cy-Mays or Cy-Nonameasshat.
Didn't really expect to win this one, lets just hope the offense shows up against Bowden tomorrow night.
i won't disagree with anything you said. it was a bad matchup from the very beginning. allowed 10 HR all year, facing a team that lives and dies by the homerun
i'm still upset with the lack of base hits, and overall lack of patience at the plate facing a guy who walks a ton of guys. our hitters always seem to be of the mindset that the pitcher is always going to strike them out unless they swing the bat. matsuzaka isn't one of those guys... need to have smarter at-bats.
also i would've liked to have seen Javy have a good outing, he was just bad, then really really good, then absolutely brutal.. wtf is up with this guy.
