  1. QUOTE (TheBigHurt @ May 31, 2009 -> 03:28 PM) I hate you. Olivo reaches base in every at-bat against us, at least that's how it f***ing feels it's ridiculous it's very craig monroe-ish
  2. have a bad feeling about matt facing olivo here
  3. QUOTE (Jimbo's Drinker @ May 31, 2009 -> 03:12 PM) 104 pitches for Greinke. 114 and the official scorer dropped one of the 4 earned runs, to an E2 passed ball, hahahahah
  4. QUOTE (TitoMB345 @ May 31, 2009 -> 02:54 PM) And Wise under .200. Sample size.
  5. danks battles his ass off for the first 1-2-3 inning of the game
  6. tie game, you cannot bring danks back out to pitch here
  7. pitch gets away from Olivo, Pods to 3rd
  8. Ramirez is completely baffled by Greinke, here comes another 3 pitch at-bat for Dye to leave Pods at 2nd with 2 outs
  9. nice at bat pods, the key is to make greinke get you to 2-2 or 3-2 counts, becuase he RARELY throws a strike on 0-2 or 1-2!
  10. danks might face one more batter, maybe 2 if he can retire them in order, i'd personally let Carrasco come in for the next inning
  11. it'd be nice to just f***ing get out of an inning when there's 2 outs and runners on base, but it looks impossible with Danks on the mound
  12. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ May 31, 2009 -> 02:25 PM) Danks has got to get that change down i was thinking the exact same thing that 1-0 pitch was an 82mph changeup basically belt-high on the corner, easily crushable
  13. if we lose 4-3, i would consider it a moral victory, hell even 5-3 wouldn't upset me much, i don't wanna see our pitching implode on itself though, lets at least keep this game somewhat close
  14. QUOTE (fathom @ May 31, 2009 -> 02:17 PM) Danks has got to keep it close, as KC will have to use their depleted bullpen today. if the arm fatigue arguement has any weight to it, it might not really be in his control to do, which is unfortunate as he's more/less supposed to be a #2 pitcher for us, at worst a #3 and that' sjust because of the lefty/righty/lefty (though we've got our rotation going righty/righty/lefty/lefty/lefty lately)
  15. Josh's body language was somewhat troubling after that first pitch it was a fastball down the middle and, he had this "Wow, really?" look on his face What did you expect josh? he's been doing that to you every single time you've faced him, smarten up
  16. QUOTE (G&T @ May 31, 2009 -> 02:10 PM) Just because people don't use those exact words doesn't mean they don't think he's going to be bad in the future. that's a far reach to assume you're automatically right because you think you know what people mean by their comments let's get this thread back on track
  17. Wise looks absolutely terrible, that 0-1 pitch will get doubled up i was right! and he took it wise-ly, take it again
  18. gonna be one of those 1 run 9 hit games
  19. if our hitters could realize that early in counts are going to be hittable pitches, maybe that could work in our favor probably not but oh well
  20. this is danks' third year in the big leagues, i hope we don't have to continuously baby his innings because he keeps showing arm fatigue
