this team isn't going anywhere with jim thome in the lineup, as sad as that is to say because he's one of my favorite players on this team, easily my 2nd or 3rd favorite his OBP is extremely high figuring he never hits, like ever, and its only because when guys ahead of him get on, and steal 2nd, they just walk thome to get to a weaker hitter behind him

not to be a negative nancy but i find it hard for gavin to reproduce anything close to his last outing, given his track record of not having any mental toughness, my guess is he's well aware that this game has a lot on the line for him, and it will probably affect his performance prove me wrong gavin please

it's becoming clear to me that our pitchers struggle the most when we build up a big lead, and they have to pitch to overly-aggressive hitters that are swinging out of desperation to shrink our lead

bases loaded, 0 outs = no runs we ARE the worst team in baseball, no other team does that as much as we do, period major league talent doesn't load up the bases repeatedly all year, and more often than not walk away with zero runs, absolutely pathetic i dunno if i can watch anymore games this year, its too frustrating anymore
