Omar is batting a gentleman's .125.

Nice, Gordon gets on. We have to get guys on in front of our DH.

Four pitch walk to Mark Kotsay. Huh.
-

With Kotsay batting 5th, you know PK has the sort of protection in the lineup that he wants.

I really hate watching AJ hit.

Keep getting in the way of pitches, Juan. That's more than OK with me. Now steal second.

Let's do it, Mark!

AAP: Ryan Buch
Ryan's been mainly working out of the pen so far this year. Some control issues though, with 10 walks in 13.1 IP.
-
AAP: Adam Ricks
Ricks is simply nothing more than organizational catching depth anymore. Just 2-20 batting so far.
-
5/14 Games
Short 1-3 so far. Keepin' on.

QUOTE (greg775 @ May 14, 2010 -> 03:58 PM) So basically you all are mad at one slot in the lineup. Nix for Omar? What lineup do you magically want with our personnel that will be any better? Omar's offensive production is being outpaced by pitchers in the NL. The only justification for him to ever play has to do with him being in the field. In place of Mark Teahen, for example.

The Designated Hitter
More fun: The Sox are by far the most godawful team in the majors with RISP, hitting .206. Next worst is Baltimore at .229. MLB average is .260.
