QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jun 1, 2011 -> 12:34 PM) How blind is management that they won't give him more opportunities? This

Is that Nick Diamond from Celebrity Death Match doing color for the Red Sox?

QUOTE (kapkomet @ May 28, 2011 -> 05:26 PM) Go Usama! I just lost some brain cells.

The scary part is that Barcelona is basically the Spanish National Team without obviously Messi, they are gonna be even harder to beat in the next WC as long as they stay healthy, IMO.
-
Dear Dallas, If you want to beat Miami, you can´t miss open shots, you´re not the Bulls, you can make those...you also can´t let the Heat bench outscore your bench, they are supposed to suck but they´ve gotten good production from someone off the bench the last few series, stop that or this series will be over in 4 or 5 tops. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ May 28, 2011 -> 01:32 AM) Also, after thinking about it, Scottie is dead to me. Absolutely dead. Yeah, the NBA forum I visit is buzzing with this LBJ is the GOAT, Pip really let those LBJ fanboys go in a frenzy with those stupid comments...fortunately not all of MJ former teammates feel the same way.

QUOTE (Melissa1334 @ May 28, 2011 -> 01:13 PM) 1-0 barcelona , inevitable edit:1-1 make that 3 1 and this game is ova!

QUOTE (Felix @ May 15, 2011 -> 07:03 PM) Why is this thread fail? I'd much rather watch the WNBA than just about any of the UFC/WWE events, and those threads gets a ton of response. Simply put, the Lynx are going to be a blast to watch this summer. They're easily the best team in Minnesota right now, and it should be fun watching them develop throughout the season. Maya Moore is a huge difference maker for this team, and it's going to be exciting to see how she adjusts to the jump to the WNBA. That is really sad.

QUOTE (chw42 @ May 26, 2011 -> 10:28 PM) This happens to the Heat all the time. Typical superstar treatment. Every team has to deal with it basically. What's surprising is that the god damn MVP couldn't get more free throws than freaking Chris Bosh. There is something wrong there, it´s not like Rose didn´t attack the rim, he just wasn´t getting calls and on the other hand, LBJ was parked at the FT line. Last 2 games the Heat had 71 FTAs to Chicago´s 43, come on.

QUOTE (chw42 @ May 27, 2011 -> 12:42 PM) Like how he stood pat at the deadline when the team desperately needed a SG? This

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 27, 2011 -> 08:56 AM) Miami just beat the best team they will face in 5 games. Dallas stands zero chance. I disagree.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ May 27, 2011 -> 07:03 AM) Kobe doesn't seem happy in L.A. He wasn't even consulted with in the Mike Brown acquisition. Any chance he could be traded to us? I would literally orgasm in my pants but that will never happen.

QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ May 26, 2011 -> 11:38 PM) If you watched this game start to finish and think LeBron in the best player in the league you're out of your mind. Half the points he gets are just gift wrapped from the officials, and this amazing LeBron defense? When you cant be called for a foul it makes it pretty easy. Bosh beat us, Wade killed us... and we lost again. This series, and all of LeBron pandering to the refs and all that BS just made it obvious he's really the 3rd best player on that team. NO NO NO...and I´m not a LBJ fan but he is no doubt the best player in the world. It´s true that if you breathe on LBJ, it´s a foul nowadays but that´s not his fault, that´s the f***ing refs helping him out when he doesn´t need it. I never complain about the refs but some of those calls in the second half were atrocious.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ May 26, 2011 -> 10:58 PM) No matter what, that 08 team never stood a chance to win a World Series imo, nor did I have as much fun watching them through out the season as I did this Bulls team. As far as professional sports go, this Bulls team was the most fun I've had watching one of my teams outside the 05 White Sox. I f***in loved this team and now I'm just absolutely devastated. The reason I´m not so devastated is because I´m old enough to have seen Jordan´s struggles with the Celtics and Pistons before he rattled off 6 in 8 years...that was the greatest time to be a Chicago sports team fan...the GOAT playing for your team!
-
QUOTE (Rowand44 @ May 26, 2011 -> 10:54 PM) It's a lot worse for me. This is the most devastated I can ever remember feeling about a sports team. The Bears losing to the Pack at home in the NFC Champ game easily kicks this one in the ass...

QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ May 26, 2011 -> 04:31 PM) I went to do this too and after "Lebron wo" the second auto fill option was Lebron worships the devil. This http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LfZ0BO0EqOY Seriously though, if LeBron had a post game, he would be Magic Johnson on steroids.

QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ May 26, 2011 -> 01:42 PM) Quick question: I have been saving the Bulls highlights from each playoff game into my computer. the plan was to create a tribute video if the made it to the finals, or won the championship. If the Bulls fail to make the finals, should I still make the video? No because no team other than the Heat will win every Finals for the foreseeable future.
-
QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 26, 2011 -> 01:28 PM) You can't obviously just hand the Heat the next 5 titles. I think what Balta means, and I've said this many times, that no team is set up better to, well, flat dominate for the next 5 years than the Heat are. They're a win away from the finals and they've been together for like 5 minutes. Everybody talked about how bad their supporting cast was. And again, a win away from the finals. I don't mean to sound repetitive (and I admit I have a nasty habit with that), but superstars win out in the NBA. The Bulls had Jordan. He took a break and the Rockets had Hakeem. Shaq, Kobe and Duncan have collected like every ring since 2000. Now it's the Heat. I didn´t realize the Heat already beat the Mavericks in these Finals, I guess I could just skip them, thanks!
-
All this talk about the Heat winning the next 4 or 5 championships is really premature...first win a couple before we declare them invincible. And if you think other elite players will stand around and watch the Heat rack up rings, you´re mistaken, I believe we´ll see a few more superteams created to counter Miami and Chicago will likely benefit along with the Lakers, Celtics and Knicks (major market teams).
-
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 25, 2011 -> 11:50 AM) Different topic...the Lakers are likely to offer their head coaching position to former Cavaliers coach Mike Brown. That's mind boggling, how do you go from Phil Jackson to Mike Brown? That's like going from a Ferrari to a Hyundai.
-
There will be a gm 6, this team is lacking in certain areas but not in heart. The pressure will be on Miami in a gm 6, we'll see how they respond but if the Bulls play D with the same intensity we saw last night, I wouldn't be surprised if there's a gm 7 and then anything is possible. I agree with everyone here, Korver is useless, I could be out there on the floor and contribute what Korver has done so far, I would suck on D and wouldn't hit a three to save my life.
-
I was watching the game with my brother, long time Bulls fans like me going back to the 80's and I have a couple of points I wanna make... 1.Rose is only 22, the kid has a lot of growing up to do and he will no doubt get better (you still need to attack LBJ on an ISO, I don't give a f*** if he's this shut down defender, challenge his ass!!!) 2.Let's kick their ass in gm 5 and give the same effort in gm 6. 3.Let's have a gm 7!! Really, it's over but let's work these assholes so Dallas can finish them off. GO BULLS!!!

We had this game in regulation, f***ing Rose and his weak ass fade away, goddammit!!!
