Yep, I also think he's pressing, like he thinks he needs to make a big splash every AB, he needs to stop chasing and just try to get on base, even if it's with walks. TLR also needs to put him lower in the line up until he starts hitting again (if that happens).

What, the way he's been struggling, it's a given that the AL has figured him out...I'm honestly hoping he can adjust but if he keeps chasing garbage, ideally he needs to go back down to the minors to figure out his approach. With the way the injuries have been stacking up though, might as well let him stick around and hope he makes the adjustments. Obviously he isn't what he was in April but I don't think he's this bad either, I think he can become a serviceable major league hitter but he has to stop expanding the strike zone.

Yeah I understand that but all I'm saying is that Billy was a big contributor before he got hurt, and we don't have his services atm...

This team is deep, winning these games vs good teams shows that we have guys who can step up, could'v easily folded today but they fought tooth and nail to get that W...just getting most of our starters back healthy will only make them a better team.

You mean 4 starters, Yoan, Nicky, Eloy and Robert...what this team did to TB by winning 2/3 with basically half our team out is nothing short of amazing.

Plus Billy Hamilton who provides speed and defense, and he was hitting the ball hard before he got injured...

Yep, people need to keep this in mind when complaining about our Sox...a bunch of injuries and this is our B team but they keep on winning...the team will only get better when Billy, Kopech, Eloy and Robert are back. Need to find some outside help for the BP and a replacement for Nicky at the trade line and watch out. This team can hang with anybody.

Yep, they gave the BP enough of a cushion but didn't get the job done. Win or lose, my takeaway is that we can more than hang with TB because we currently have a scrappy team with almost half of our starters out because our SPs are just flat out better than theirs...we need a replacement for Nicky and most importantly, need bullpen help because we have too many guys underperforming.

Also, we do need bullpen help, up 7-3 and the BP just shit the bed.
