  1. QUOTE (Sonik22 @ Oct 16, 2013 -> 03:00 PM) Mexican Announcers losing it over USA goals That's Cristian Martinoli with former Atletico Madrid and former Mexican National Team members Luis Garcia and Jorge Campos. Essentially, Martinoli is thanking the US and berating the Mexican side, saying things like the US plays with talent and heart, the guys in green shirts don't, the US gets it done with their B squad, the Mexican team with their arrogant players who play in Europe play like bums, the US goes on to Brazil with their heads held high, Mexico goes ass backwards, etc. He basically rips the Mexican team a new one while praising the US and adds that Vucetich should also resign. He is known for being one of the few honest soccer commentators in Mexico, and not just a lapdog of Big Soccer Business down there.
  2. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 15, 2013 -> 10:42 PM) Did that really just happen? Oh my. Poor Panama. I'm sure New Zealand isn't exactly thrilled about the last second change of opponent. At the least, I hope the Mexican fans stop throwing urine at the US players as a thank you. They should but I doubt it. Keep in mind though, the majority of Mexican fans don't do that, just a few idiots who make the whole look bad. Also, big soccer business down here should somehow gratify Jurgen, he saved them hundreds of millions of dollars that were heading down the sink. Again, they still have to get past NZ.
  3. QUOTE (zenryan @ Oct 15, 2013 -> 10:29 PM) US scores 2 goals in basically stoppage time to win 3-2. Mexico lost 2-1 Mexico moves onto the playoff. The US probably wanted to help Mexico get to the WC. You never know, they might meet in the second round like a few WCs back and it'd be an easy win for TUSA. Mexico can no longer beat their northern neighbors. Of course Mexico would need to get past NZ.
  4. What happened, who's out, who's in? I'm at work guys, fill me in.
  5. WTF on the last two posts. There was a time human sacrifice was acceptable, people were thrown to the lions or had to fight to the death for sport. Towns had to have walls to keep muderous invaders away. Beheadings/hangings/torture were a public spectacle. Thousands of people would be impaled and left out in the open to intimidate the enemy. As a whole, we've become less violent, not more... Oh but a few sore losers in Kentucky is the sign of the apocolypse!
  6. QUOTE (scs787 @ Oct 11, 2013 -> 11:55 PM) The quantity hasn't been there but the quality sure has. Yea, it was already mentioned that we only lost our starting QB when the Bears were playing real good football. That team could've done some real damage in the post season.
  7. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Oct 11, 2013 -> 02:31 PM) Bears have had pretty good luck the past few years avoiding injuries. Packers are pretty much going through this every year, including this year. It's aggravating. I beg to differ
  8. May that c*nt burn in hell.
  9. QUOTE (Jake @ Oct 6, 2013 -> 03:00 PM) We have lost on all the finer points of the game and also have come up empty on turnovers. Not a good recipe, but we were competitive till the end. With improvement, we'll be able to beat teams like this Optimism is discouraged here, sir
  10. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Sep 29, 2013 -> 02:52 PM) The defense let Reggie bush run for over 100 yards the first half. Come on. They were horrible today. I did say they gave up a lot of yards...
  11. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Sep 29, 2013 -> 02:45 PM) Not grumpy at all. Your post made no sense. Why not just say "if you take away all the plays where Detroit scored, we'd have a shutout." Sqwert, you're a smart guy regardless of the fact you're a Raiders fan but you do understand a defense has a much harder time keeping an opponent out of the end zone when the offense keeps giving up the ball near their end zone. That's all I said, those 40 points aren't all on the Bears defense...
  12. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Sep 29, 2013 -> 02:42 PM) LOL at posts like this. I understand, you're grumpy being a Raiders fan...
  13. The Lions have 37 pts right now, but take away the Cutler turnovers and the bad special teams plays and the D, though they given up alot of yards, weren't doing a bad job of keeping the Lions out of the end zone.
  14. Just dandy the way Cutler keeps throwing into double coverage
  15. That interception wasn't Cutler's fault!!!

  17. QUOTE (iamshack @ Sep 22, 2013 -> 04:27 PM) Lions won I know they did, I meant it's great when all 3 lose but I'll take 2 outta 3 all day.
  18. QUOTE (scs787 @ Sep 22, 2013 -> 03:06 PM) Disagreed. Always nice to see divisional opponents struggle, a loss for both would be fantastic. (I of course am talking about the fact that both the Vikes and Pack are on TV here) How bout them Browns! ok, u got a good point, always great to see the Pack, Vikes and Lions lose...now we need to win tonight
  19. Call me a meathead but Sunday day games without a Bears football game bores me to death.
  20. This reminds me of the time J4L said DeAndre Jordan was gonna be an elite big. That was hilarious. This mancrush on Beasley is pretty sad.
  21. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Sep 12, 2013 -> 11:34 AM) I think really all Beasley offers the heat is a stretch-4 who can put it on the floor a little bit. Then again, with that team, they can pretty much put anybody anywhere and be successful They already have Bosh for that and Bosh >>> Beasley.
