I find solace in the fact the while LBJ is the best player today, he ain't MJ (don't give a f*** what J4L thinks on this matter)... What I mean by that is once MJ became a champ, nobody knocked him off, maybe LeBron CAN be knocked off, the Spurs should have won gm 6 last year and only a miracle shot by Ray Ray saved Bron from a summer of ridicule.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 29, 2013 -> 01:46 PM) The biggest difference is instead of having the best player on the planet, the Bulls are now chasing the team with the best player on the planet. Yup, if we have to compare to that early 90's era, it feels more like we're the Knicks and the Heat are the Bulls
-
So when the Heat overload on Derrick again in the playoffs, whose gonna create his own shot (or create for others) to make the Heat pay? Butler? Old broken down Hinrich? Who? Are we even gonna be healthy come playoffs? Noah, Deng, Hinrich, I'm looking at you... I'm as giddy as anyone here on the Rose but I'm still skeptical on the Bulls actually knocking off prime LeBron. The dude just owns us in the postseason and I still don't see who we added who's going to take some pressure off Rose in late game situations. Personally, I don't think the Heat threepeat but I just don't see us as the team that puts them away. I really do hope I'm wrong though.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Oct 20, 2013 -> 03:05 PM) I'm not angry. You were correct. If Lovie were coaching, we'd have no injuries and everyone would be younger. f*** off

Wow, McCown looking good

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Oct 20, 2013 -> 02:47 PM) If only we had Lovie Smith! Then Charles Tillman would be 5 years younger. I got the point dude, did you see me challenge your post? Are you always angry, jeez

Both Peanut and Conte misplayed that throw horribly. f***ing make a stop you bums!
-
lol, this is pathetic
-
McCown showing some mobility, didn't expect that...Forte TD!
-
This is the worst Bears D in over a decade easy. I knew our D would regress without Lovie but this is ridiculous.

QUOTE (Sonik22 @ Oct 16, 2013 -> 03:00 PM) Mexican Announcers losing it over USA goals That's Cristian Martinoli with former Atletico Madrid and former Mexican National Team members Luis Garcia and Jorge Campos. Essentially, Martinoli is thanking the US and berating the Mexican side, saying things like the US plays with talent and heart, the guys in green shirts don't, the US gets it done with their B squad, the Mexican team with their arrogant players who play in Europe play like bums, the US goes on to Brazil with their heads held high, Mexico goes ass backwards, etc. He basically rips the Mexican team a new one while praising the US and adds that Vucetich should also resign. He is known for being one of the few honest soccer commentators in Mexico, and not just a lapdog of Big Soccer Business down there. -

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 15, 2013 -> 10:42 PM) Did that really just happen? Oh my. Poor Panama. I'm sure New Zealand isn't exactly thrilled about the last second change of opponent. At the least, I hope the Mexican fans stop throwing urine at the US players as a thank you. They should but I doubt it. Keep in mind though, the majority of Mexican fans don't do that, just a few idiots who make the whole look bad. Also, big soccer business down here should somehow gratify Jurgen, he saved them hundreds of millions of dollars that were heading down the sink. Again, they still have to get past NZ. -

QUOTE (zenryan @ Oct 15, 2013 -> 10:29 PM) US scores 2 goals in basically stoppage time to win 3-2. Mexico lost 2-1 Mexico moves onto the playoff. The US probably wanted to help Mexico get to the WC. You never know, they might meet in the second round like a few WCs back and it'd be an easy win for TUSA. Mexico can no longer beat their northern neighbors. Of course Mexico would need to get past NZ. -

Kentucky stopping handshakes after HS games
MexSoxFan#1 replied to southsider2k5's topic in The Filibuster
WTF on the last two posts. There was a time human sacrifice was acceptable, people were thrown to the lions or had to fight to the death for sport. Towns had to have walls to keep muderous invaders away. Beheadings/hangings/torture were a public spectacle. Thousands of people would be impaled and left out in the open to intimidate the enemy. As a whole, we've become less violent, not more... Oh but a few sore losers in Kentucky is the sign of the apocolypse! -
QUOTE (scs787 @ Oct 11, 2013 -> 11:55 PM) The quantity hasn't been there but the quality sure has. Yea, it was already mentioned that we only lost our starting QB when the Bears were playing real good football. That team could've done some real damage in the post season.
-
QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Oct 11, 2013 -> 02:31 PM) Bears have had pretty good luck the past few years avoiding injuries. Packers are pretty much going through this every year, including this year. It's aggravating. I beg to differ
-
Well, that sucked.

May that c*nt burn in hell.

QUOTE (Jake @ Oct 6, 2013 -> 03:00 PM) We have lost on all the finer points of the game and also have come up empty on turnovers. Not a good recipe, but we were competitive till the end. With improvement, we'll be able to beat teams like this Optimism is discouraged here, sir
