No GM is ever "done" or content. Does this mean another move is imminent? No, but he's sure as hell looking to improve.

I collect when I have cash. . . Actually, I picked up some rookie cards at Fan Fest--Soriano, Carlos Beltran, Blalock, Mulder.

DJ is terrible. Hawk and DJ have no chemistry, and it's painful to listen to them. For a major market like Chicago it's ridiculous we have to put up w/ people like Carey,Jackson,Arkush,etc. The best tandem in town is Foley/Tallon and no one knows it. What a shame.

I played against him a few years back in a tourney in Iowa. This kid is a BEAST. He hit tee shot home runs every time I saw him bat. His swing was like something out of one of those Tom Emanski videos. He was like a robot. And he was a LHP who threw gas! I kept my eye on him after I saw him, and sure he enough he showed up on Baseball America lists. I can't imagine there was a round and a half of better prospects available this year. I'm really looking forward to seeing is development.
