I’d rather watch a rookie like him struggle then the same 3 bench players we have been running out there since 2017 (Engel, Delmonico and Garcia)

Too many holes in the lineup. It’s not rocket science. Renteria punted this game in a season you cannot have a bench squad lineup

Pretty sure Madrigal can ground out like Leury can, but he can do it to more positions than just 2nd base so he’s already an improvement over what we have out there

0-10 so far from Delmonico, Collins, Garcia and Mendick.......not gonna win many ball games with your 4-5 hitters going a whopping 0-6

And it wasn’t like they didn’t know that Madrigal needed to “work on things” to start the season. Poor lineup decision making and poor foresight by management, no other excuse is acceptable

Where could you not see the Whitesox having to use these guys as starters for any given length of time? Mazara is always banged up, Eloy well he was hurt 2-3 times last year with avoidable injuries?

Just too many holes in this lineup to sustain any momentum. Automatic outs at 4, 5, 8, 9 puts a lot of pressure on the top of the lineup

Only problem is we have gaping holes in the middle and bottom of the line up (every player not named Robert)
