This would be my only concern with the padres interest now.

Okay peavy44, back to the numbers....if the deal is anywhere close to each other the Sox win out....you gave a 5 million dollar gap now are throwing out totally random numbers when no one has even hinted those being comparable in talk from either team.

Man this thread is going bi polar.......if Harper deal is heating up it only makes sense to drum up the San Diego talks because without them Machado would only be left with the whitesox.....this is not rocket science guys

Well Harper to the Phillies would be the next best thing other than the Sox landing both, the only way I see the Sox not landing Machado is if Harper goes somewhere else and the Phillies get desperate.....
