I'm guessing the over/under for Steve Stone mentioning "lively ballpark" is 14 tonight.
He mentioned it in the first sentence out of his mouth during his Score interview a few minutes ago.

Don't count on it.
But we can count on you being annoyingly negative every step of the way, so we have that going for us.

Super catch!

Do the Yankees and Red Sox rest their players all the time given they play in Tampa and Toronto three times as much as us every year?
-
The only pennant race left for us is the fight for home field advantage in the playoffs. We need to catch Tampa Bay in order to get that advantage.
We should have our A lineup going all three games this weekend, no excuses.
Give whomever rest days when the team is in Toronto.

Between the game being broadcast on every ABC-TV station across the country tonight, and the Field of Dreams game getting shown on FOX on Thursday, the Sox are going to get a tremendous amount of national exposure this week.
Hopefully it’s the beginning of a lot of time spent on the national stage as we journey through this competitive window.

The Omar Vizquel/Roberto Alomar double play combination did not age well - literally

Both Len and Steve are baseball announcers. Benneti more suited toward basketball, boxing, MMA. Baseball is too slow for his style and taste. Just hope he stays so us radio listeners get him for 120 or so games a year. Len and DJ are great.
Is Len at the park, or still out of the Jerry Springer studios in NBC tower?
He and Stone are in the booth at Wrigley

Len is so much easier on the ears then Jason IMO. He lets the game breathe.
That’s a great way to put it. He goes nice and easy, engages Stone appropriately, and most importantly, doesn’t try and jam so much of the cornball routine into every available second during the telecast. Don’t get me wrong, I think Benetti is a good announcer. I just think he could be far better if he took a page out of Kasper’s book. Maybe in time.

Kasper and Stone are very smooth and seamless together. Really enjoying their broadcasts

Cubs completely overmatched that inning

Terrific day at the plate for Engel

Do we really need this kind of negativity? GTFO

Way to get us out of it, Liam!
0-0 game now and we are the superior team, so let’s go win this

From Mercedes to Lamb, Hamilton to Goodwin. Now we have guys named Zavala and Hernandez helping lead the way to a division title and playoff appearance in ways we could have never imagined back in spring training.

This game is very interesting from the standpoint we are seeing what all of the teams will see from now on from the seventh inning on with this new and improved bullpen

Lotsa people questioned Tony putting Engel at #2.
With a right hander on the mound it was a very legitimate question to ask

Have yourself a game, Adam Engel!

How did we go from that very promising double by Eloy to this conclusion of the inning?
