  1. You can most certainly bet Hernandez is gone next year as well.
  2. They can get a 2b this offseason to replace what they gave up. 2b is one of the easier positions to find a replacement. Losing Heuer is tough. However, relievers are hit or miss. One year, they can be good and than the next year they can be bad or they can be good for the first half of the season and than be bad for the second half of the season.
  3. Doesn’t really matter. We get rid of his contract and use the money to add an elite player or a couple solid players.
  4. Yeah I agree, I would try to find a taker for Kimbrel to see what they can get for him and just use Crochet or Bummer as the setup man for Hendricks.
  5. I think they should just let Rodon walk and somehow find a way to add Kopech to the rotation, which I don’t know how they are going to do it.
  6. If Jerry and the FO wants to win another WS or a couple, if that’s truly what there goal is, than he needs to open up his pocketbook and start adding payroll to compete against the elite teams. No ifs, ands or buts about it!
  7. Lol. Probably too early but just thought I would get some people’s on it. They shouldn’t trade Eloy, Vaughn or Moncada. They should add to their core, not trade them or tear it apart. It took them years to get where they are right now. They should add free agents. I’m thinking either Marcus Semien or possibly going after Eduardo Escobar again for 2b and for RF Starling Marte. Can you imagine this lineup. SS Anderson, 2b Semien or Escobar, CF Robert, 1st Abreu, LF Jimenez, C Grandal, 3rd Moncada, RF Marte, DH Vaughn. That fixes the bottom of the lineup and adds speed, defense, power and contact hitting to the team. Also, deepens your bench with Garcia, Engel and Sheets. We wouldn’t have to play Goodwin anymore.
  8. It will be interesting to see what they do this offseason if they lose the next two games. Any thoughts?
  9. Actually there was something. If Grandal would’ve hit that ball out or in the gap we would’ve been right back in the game but it was hit to someone. We didn’t give up at the end. We battled.
  10. Astros fans needed to be waked up by White Sox fans. Pathetic! Lol
  11. Yeah if you compare Lynn’s face to Crochet’s face or reactions, you can tell who was more calm and who didn’t know what was going on.
  12. You can just tell from Lynn’s face that either something was wrong or he was very worried/nervous. Like a deer in the headlights.
  13. Crochet looks calm out there. Like he’s been there before.
  14. I can’t even watch the live broadcast. It keeps going back to the first couple innings with Lynn pitching. Probably for the best. Lol
  15. They just lost to a better pitcher that we unfortunately haven’t matched up well against. I could see that coming from a mile away.
  16. This first game was obviously a nightmare to say the least. Let’s come back tomorrow.
  17. They need to go out and fill those holes that the board has been talking about and for free agents that are really good and with playoff experience. I’m talking Kris Bryant level. Now will they do that is the question? That remains to be seen.
  18. He does have a lot to prove next year. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s our best pitcher next year. Lol
  19. Astros are just more experienced. Unfortunately they look like a team that is more hungry. It’s only the first game though but just learn from this.
  20. Listen, don’t get upset guys it’s the first game of the series.
