  1. That money that goes to the PA never gets to the people who need it. The "Palestinians" live in poverty and squalor, due to the greed of their "leaders". But rockets and explosive belts cost $, and this money has to come from somewhere. (Supposedly Arafat's wife is worth several hundred million dollars, of "humanitarian aid".)
  2. There was a 10-month moratorium on building settlements in Jerusalem (which belongs to Israel, always has and alway will!) that lapsed. Israel did NOT build during the moratorium. They assassinated known terrorists/murderers...I don't shed one tear for them. Seeking to achieve a "lasting peace" at the expense of Israel's national security DOES make one an enemy IMO.
  3. The US also sends billions of dollars in aid to Arab nations (including the "Palestinians"), and they are not what any sane person would consider "allies"!
  4. As a Jew, I agree with you. My situation is that I am not, nor have I ever been a "1-issue voter". I am deeply concerned about the environment, human rights, womens' rights, etc. (That's why I have never (would never) vote(d) Republican.) Israel is a very important "issue" to me, and I think we need a President who truly values her importance as an ally.
  5. I have been a lifelong Democrat, but because I didn't trust Obama with re. Israel, I couldn't vote for BO in good conscience. Unfortunately, it seems that my fears were (are) reality. http://www.jewishworldreview.com/0410/tobin041910.php3
  6. Where were you when the "Luis Era" ended?
  7. Oz would get hired again...he's a damn good (successful) manager.
  8. Which is my point about Joey Cora being the heir apparent. Jerry Reinsdorf rarely, if ever hires coaches and/or managers who've had prior experience coaching/managing on the pro level. (See LaRussa, Bevington, Torborg, Fregosi, Manuel, Lamont, Guillen, Phil Jackson, Tim Floyd, DelNegro, Boylan, Cartwright, etc.). He doesn't believe in throwing big $ at coaches and/or managers. Gaston didn't get hired cuz JR didn't wanna pay him, don't kid yourself into believing anything else.
  9. I agree; there are better ways of doing it. Ozzie is our manager, so we have to deal with what/who we have. IMO, if he leaves/gets launched, we're gonna get Joey Cora as our next manager...will that be better for you? More importantly, would the team be any better with Cora as the manager...DOUBTFUL!
  10. IMO, most of what Ozzie says/does is to take the pressure/focus off of his players. This is a good thing.
  11. Don't be so sensitive...all I'm saying is that in "White Sox Nation", team performance should be what matters most. I could care less what Ozzie says to the f**king media. They love to goad him into saying stupid things, then jump on him when he does. Whether you want to believe it or not, Ozzie is a great manager. IMO the Sox probably don't win the 2005 WS without him.
  12. Yeah, who cares what Ozzie says to the media? It doesn't matter. What matters is how the team performs, not what Ozzie says about a youtube video.
