  1. QUOTE (BFirebird @ Apr 21, 2012 -> 12:25 AM) Just turned it on....was Sale effectively wild tonight? Looked at the box score and he seemed to throw a lot of balls..but 11 Ks? Good to see Dunn with a 2B & homer. Yea Sale battled all night from the beginning. We had about a 20 minute top of the 1st inning while Sale was sitting in the sugout. From the start he was battling, but as you can see he did one hell of a job. 1st inning he had 1st & 3rd nobody out then went on to K Ichiro & got Smoak to hit into a DP to get out of the inning unharmed.
  2. Icihiro is to good. Tank unleashed his arm strength on that one tho. Should get a nice amount of assists out there.
  3. If Sale can pick up 11 punchouts on an off night, ill take it hahaha. Our scouts take a beating in the draft process but they absolutely NAILED it with this pick. Sale is a dandy.
  4. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 20, 2012 -> 11:48 PM) Greg's Royals (despite being 0-7 at home) just passed the White Sox in attendance. Guessing that Seattle has at least high 20's with Ichiro bobblehead night, we're now in 29th place in the majors, lol. Only ahead of CLE, who's about to be 6-1 on the road this April. 8 K's now, one more inning probably. Sale is sailing smooth seas through the Seattle smog. So you are just giving CLE the win when they are up 4-2 in the 6th? Lol
  5. QUOTE (Jillian Michaels' Abs @ Apr 20, 2012 -> 11:39 PM) Completely unrelated to the Sox game... was flipping between Sox game and Dodgers game on MLB.tv and Dodgers announcers comparing Matt Kemp to Frank Thomas. "I've never seen so many Unintential intentional walks in RBI spots than Frank Thomas." I don't think Kemp is quite Frank Thomas good, but man that guy can HIT. BIG TIME OPPOSITE FIELD POWER.
  6. QUOTE (Rooftop Shots @ Apr 20, 2012 -> 11:13 PM) During the top of the 3rd inning......did anybody hear who hawk was talking about that he said had a nose that was twice as big as his? He was talking about hank Aaron when the other persons name came up I thought it was like Chris Giordanno or something haha but I've been sippin a couple so I may be wrong.
  7. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 20, 2012 -> 11:06 PM) Shades of early 2010 with Alex Rios now. Solid line drives. If he can get that form back consistently the way AJ & Paulie are going & Dunn starting to hit the ball it could def be a fun summer.
  8. And now AJ tried to go oppo but Ryan who has always been one of the best defensive shortstops makes a great play.
  9. QUOTE (TaylorStSox @ Apr 20, 2012 -> 10:50 PM) How many hits to the opposite field so far? At least 4.....plus Paulie lined out to the opposite field & Rios got the Sac Fly oppo.
  10. QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 18, 2012 -> 10:13 PM) I think most people have always liked Peavy's attitude. He does try and does appear to always care. The guy is the ultimate competitor.....if he stays healthy he is our ACE no doubt in my mind
  11. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 18, 2012 -> 10:08 PM) GET HIM OUT OF THERE, PLEASE. Chilllllllllll 1-2-3
  12. Peavy is on pace for one hell of a season. He has faced 3 very good hitting lineups & faired very well against them.
  13. QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 18, 2012 -> 10:04 PM) Dunn looked like a real hitter on that double. He went down and stroked it to left off a lefty. I want to know ... how did he do that? Show him the tape of that at bat over and over. Also show Beckham tape of his last at bat. Lmao reading this made me LOL for some reason & who in the hell is hazel may?
  14. I feel like Ozzie would have kept him in there.....Nice to see Robin pull him & give us a chance at getting out of the inning
  15. Everybody tweet this video to Beckham haha. It is nice to see him staying positive & giving the other players props on twitter after every game, but if he somehow finds that 09 stroke.....WATCH OUT FOR THE SOX!
  16. YIPPY KI YAY MOTHA F*****S So far against 2 of the best lineups in the Tigers & Rangers the Sox pitching has looked good. Gavin battled his behind off today.
  17. Edwin Jackson with a complete game giving up just 2 hits & 1 run with 9 K's PAULIEEEEEEEEEEEE
