AAP: Jefferson Olacio
QUOTE (OilCan @ Jun 21, 2012 -> 03:55 AM) What does he throw? I'm thinking FB, CH and something else. Thanks. I have currently no update of his pitching arsenal. His FB is great and he's supposed to have a CH and a curve but I'm not sure about the quality of those.

It must be said - Hawk Harrelson has to go
QUOTE (ScottyDo @ May 24, 2012 -> 02:54 PM) BOXERS, DAMMIT! Boxer shorts or boxer briefs? BIG difference!

AAP: Jefferson Olacio
Jefferson Joseph Olacio, LHP - Bristol Sox Born 01/16/1994 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic 6’7”, 230 Throws/Bats: L/L Jefferson Olacio, 18 years old, is a huge guy at 6’7” and 230 lbs. He signed with White Sox for $125 000 in 2010 and played in the Dominican Summer League White Sox last year. He had big control problems last year with a 9.08 BB/9 but he also had a K/9 to match. He has a great fastball and is working on his curve and change-up. Jefferson spent the 2012 season split between Kannapolis and Bristol. His BB/9 is down from awful 9.08 to still not very good 6.00. His SO/9 is also down, 8.34. Turning 19 in January 2013 he's still very young. He was part of the instructional league squad this fall.

Wild card to the extreme
With third placed teams having a chance to reach playoffs, how will play-in work this year? Let's say the season was over now with the current results standing. Baltimore, Cleveland and Texas are obviously through with Tampa grabbing one of the wildcards. Then what? Currently Sox, Yankees, Detroit and Toronto are all on .556. Would Sox play Detroit because they are in the same division? And which team would be playing at home, both in that game and in the next play-in game? And does it even fit into the schedule? I know it's highly(!) unlikely to happen, but still?

AND THAT'S A PERFECT GAME WHITE SOX WINNER!!!
I'm just so incredibly happy right now! It's closing up on 1am and I'm going try and get some sleep, fat chance. Philip Humber is my new hero, this is just amazing!!! I started to get nervous already in 5th and pretty much completely stopped caring about the Sox offense. I'm surprised my heart didn't collapse from this!

GT 4/11/12 - SOX @ Indians - 11:05a CDT - CSN
QUOTE (TitoMB @ Apr 11, 2012 -> 08:14 AM) Living in California definitely has some negatives. 9:05am baseball is one of them. I don't even wake up until 9:15! Le sigh. Don't complain too much. My normal game time is 1:05am or 3:05am so this (7:05pm) is a million times better

ChiSox/Indians series preview
I'm really nervous about Sale tonight. I hope he has it in him but I won't believe until I see it, there's a lot more pressure now.

QUOTE (Cali @ Mar 22, 2012 -> 10:32 PM) Fun game. In those appreciate the game commercials, watch the players hands. You can tell how nervous they are. Crain is the worst I've see. Hawks gota really twitchy right thumb as well... Meh, now I can't stop looking at their hands at every commercial. Thanks!
