  1. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 11, 2016 -> 07:54 PM) Two garbage goals. Not a great start. Can't really help the second one. Deflected off Hammer. Dallas has no D. A 2 goal lead isn't safe.
  2. Klingberg scores. 2-0 Dallas.
  3. Lehtonen is giving up so many juicy rebounds.
  4. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Feb 11, 2016 -> 01:20 PM) It still cracks me up to travel, especially in the South and try to bring up hockey, and people have no idea what the f*** you are talking about. Being in Chicago for this Hawks era definitely makes you think the country has a different perspective than it actually does in reality. Austin is a little strange, but the real Stars fans here are more dedicated than I would have expected, and the Texas Stars fans (AHL in Austin area) are crazy about hockey. Dallas will support a winner. Lots of scratches tonight.
  5. QUOTE (bmags @ Feb 5, 2016 -> 09:35 AM) I've never not had spotify premium and am shocked how useless the free version is. Being able to use it on mobile off wifi is hard not to have. Now Apple is preparing to follow with Apple Music, essentially disabling all the radio stations for non-subscribers. I don't like Apple Music, but it sucks our options are decreasing.
  6. No way. There's a reason he had one managing opportunity after his time in Chicago and none since.
  7. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Feb 11, 2016 -> 09:11 AM) Hawks to host the 2017 NHL Draft. Nothing more exciting than the host having a pick in the late 20s! Makes a ton of sense. Putting the Draft in Chicago will make the state of the NHL in the United States look much healthier than it actually is.
  8. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Feb 10, 2016 -> 03:26 PM) Everyone seems to forget that Derrick used to play through everything. Then he got hurt. He got mind-f***ed by those injuries. Agreed. I'm sure any number of us have been injured doing an activity and have struggled to return to doing the activity again.
  9. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Feb 10, 2016 -> 07:20 AM) And Havlat was Tallon's guy, not Hossa. Not to start this up again, but for the record, Dale Tallon signed Marian Hossa.
  10. QUOTE (Tony @ Feb 9, 2016 -> 09:30 PM) And he deserves credit for that. Whatever, you're cool. It's a stupid argument anyway. How do the Blackhawks package Shaw for Ladd?
  11. QUOTE (Tony @ Feb 9, 2016 -> 09:16 PM) No one is debating that. I was correcting your mistake that Keith and Seabrook were Tallon guys. That isn't true. It should also be noted Bowman joined the Hawks in 2001 and was special assistant to the GM. In 2005, he started as Director of Hockey Operations, then assistant GM. And likewise Jim Nill was Ken Holland's right hand man for four cups.
  12. QUOTE (Tony @ Feb 9, 2016 -> 08:55 PM) Keith and Seabrook were drafted by Mike Smith. Thanks, but that doesn't invalidate the fact that most of the talent on the current team was drafted by someone else.
  13. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 9, 2016 -> 08:12 PM) Lol the Hawks consistently get screwed on reviews. Yeah, you're just not allowed to do that. Don't spend so much time on the blue.
  14. QUOTE (soxfan49 @ Feb 8, 2016 -> 09:49 PM) No, but he could have found a few defensemen and goalies. Sometimes those are important Also, two months ago you said he was the best. Now, he's top 5. By April he will be top 10. But Nill started with nothing. Jamie Benn. That's it. Bowman was hired to a Stanley Cup team with Kane, Toews, Keith, Seabrook, Hossa. All Tallon guys. No one has done more to improve their franchise than Jim Nill. You don't just acquire a scoring talent like Tyler Seguin. It's $60 to park at a Cowboys game. They price out their own fans. The Cowboys are the biggest, most popular, and most valuable franchise in football, and yet they have shown time and time again they don't need the pedestrian fan to attend their games. As a Cowboys fan, that completely sucks. That being said, I went to a college game at AT&T Stadium, once. I highly recommend seeing it if you're ever there. It's more amazing than I could have imagined.
  15. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Feb 8, 2016 -> 07:50 PM) A s***load of caproom we don't have. It could essentially take an injury from a key player.
  16. QUOTE (knightni @ Feb 7, 2016 -> 09:16 AM) Only 19 more years left of celebrating 2005. I certainly hope not.
  17. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 7, 2016 -> 06:25 AM) I didn't realize stars fans were so pathetic and non existent. Reminded me of a Yotes game Dallas is a one sport town, really. Football day and night.
  18. QUOTE (Tony @ Feb 6, 2016 -> 08:42 PM) Jim Nill for president! He's a top five GM in the NHL, but he couldn't stop Corey Crawford tonight.
  19. Kane scores. 5-1 Hawks
  20. If Corey Crawford is going to play like this, no one will beat them. The score is no indication of how closely matched these teams are. 4-1 Hawks
  21. 3-1 after 1. Niemi leaking like a sieve.
  22. Seabrook scores early, 1-0 Chicago
  23. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Feb 6, 2016 -> 05:15 PM) On 14-45 shooting. "He's back!"
  24. I'll still watch, but I understand the frustration knowing your team has no reasonable chance. Most teams want to contend, but NBA is a joke at this point. No parity at all.
  25. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Feb 6, 2016 -> 07:45 AM) The miserable upper deck is standard at every park built the last 25 years. Except PNC. That is an inspired ballpark. It's like if Wrigley field were more fan centric and not a complete garbage pile.
