  1. It was silly that McDonough felt he had to answer for Kane. His response was perfect. "I wouldn’t call it vindication," McDonough said. "I’m just very happy for him. I’m glad he got off to such a great start and he’s continued to do that and the focus staying on hockey. It tells you how committed he is. But no I don’t think there’s any sense of vindication at all, he’s just reached another level of his career."
  2. QUOTE (fathom @ Jan 15, 2016 -> 08:06 PM) Bet we don't see Noah in a Bulls jersey again. Thanks for some nice memories He's not the same guy any more. He was a heck of a Bull.
  3. QUOTE (soxfan49 @ Jan 15, 2016 -> 08:08 PM) Rough night to not get the game. Kane's putting on a show (another one, anyway). Yeah I'm a little weary of proxy servers. I have heard they work, but they aren't exactly legal
  4. Blackouts suck. I don't get NHL network either.
  5. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 15, 2016 -> 07:33 AM) Popovich and Sager are great. I love that Pop is just a dick to everyone else with their dumb questions but makes a point to give Sager good responses Gar trusts him. And lets be honest here, he isnt going anywhere because JR is already paying 2 coaches right now, and he isnt about to be paying 3 coaches concurrently if they decided to ditch Hoiberg. Bottom line, we are stuck with Hoiberg, good or bad, for at least a few more years. Right. The Bulls organization (JR et al) should have fired GarPax before hiring another coach if JR didn't have faith in the FO. Fact is, this team likely has to get worse before it gets better.
  6. QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Jan 15, 2016 -> 05:51 AM) I think it depends on who you go after and if you trust Hoiberg to coach. And make no doubt about it, the Bulls trust Hoiberg. Every player not named Butler is expendable. I think the Bulls are looking to rebuild over a couple of years and hope LeBron has deteriorated enough in a few seasons to really contend.
  7. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Jan 14, 2016 -> 09:25 PM) Goalie win tonight You aren't kidding. Seabs and Hammer looked off their games tonight and the offense went to sleep after the second, but some great individual two way efforts by Shaw and Hossa shouldn't be overlooked.
  8. Butler with 93 points in the last 3 halves without Derrick Rose. Jesus, only one and a half seasons left of that terrible shell of a point guard.
  9. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jan 14, 2016 -> 09:10 PM) At this rate, Q is gonna pass Bowman in 5 years, not 10. Tomorrow night already feels like such a trap game though. Tied for the lead in the Central (Dallas with 2 games in hand). I know what you mean about the trap game, thing. Toronto will bite teams that don't take them seriously. And dang, Mike Babcock.
  10. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Jan 14, 2016 -> 08:55 PM) Sigh I'm not sure Orlando even hit Double Figures as a team in Free Throws today in London. We are so crying out for a player like Jimmy Butler. Chicago's very lucky to have him. Why have a Jimmy Butler when you can have your very own (slightly used) Derrick Rose! This former MVP believes he's the best of the best so there's that! Low low price and trades accepted. Knee issues and general wussiness not covered. Inquire within.
  11. So many mistakes on the defensive side, but Crawford continues to keep the Hawks ahead.
  12. 2-1 after 2. Shots even at 23 per side. Really good effort by the first two lines and goaltending.
  13. QUOTE (Tony @ Jan 14, 2016 -> 07:53 PM) There was just a sequence in the 2nd where Crawford made like 87 saves in a row. That was awesome. Dude has been carrying the team for a while now. Took the baton from Kane.
  14. Blackhawks with a dozen shots so far. 2-1 Chicago.
  15. QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Jan 14, 2016 -> 04:07 PM) That's why China is great lol. I have about 6-7 sweaters for under 200 bucks. My buddy bought a red Toews in college and the Indian head was the same shade of white as the players from Finland.
  16. Report: Raiders own land in San Antonio The above link is indicated as news, however this is old news around these parts.
  17. QUOTE (soxfan49 @ Jan 14, 2016 -> 12:35 PM) Really cool. I was going to buy a white Teuvo authentic but I have some hesitation to fork over $350. I do appreciate you buying the real stuff. The counterfeit market put a sports store I used to manage out of business I completely agree. $350 is just insane. I'll stick to the replicas. They look the same overall.
  18. QUOTE (kevo880 @ Jan 14, 2016 -> 10:22 AM) Kroenke is the majority share holder for Arsenal and he wasn't trying to move the Rams to London... Regardless, the logistics of a team in London are a complete mess. I can't imagine the Jags moving there.
  19. Great interview. Really looking forward to this addition. Also glad to see advanced metrics might make it to the broadcast.
  20. This came in the mail today. Looks pretty great. I'm usually not impressed with these outdoor game jerseys (excluding the original 2009 Winter Classic), but I like this one.
  21. QUOTE (Brian @ Jan 13, 2016 -> 09:59 AM) I've only watched 2 but did any soldiers lose their lives because of directly what he did? 5 years as a Taliban prisoner is something some people could look at and look at as punishment enough. It's unclear. I think the problem is, people are quick to blame him for 6 deaths since his disappearance, but it isn't certain one way or another.
  22. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 13, 2016 -> 03:58 PM) "When healthy" is a pretty important caveat in this statement You can add "when healthy" to any player with an injury history. What's your point? There's no way Dallas takes both RGIII and Manziel.
  23. QUOTE (buhbuhburrrrlz @ Jan 13, 2016 -> 01:09 PM) Noah's days seem numbered with the Bulls. Almost everyone not named "Butler" is either expendable now or have "numbered days". I cannot wait for Derrick Rose to walk.
