  1. Thornton fails again. Way to set an example for the rookies Matt
  2. But if we win this game despite Gordon not getting a hit, doesn't it disprove that notion?
  3. I hate how our home game fans haven't embraced Dunn yet. He leads the league in home runs, but they won't even clap or give him any encouragement or anything. They only clap when he hits a HR.
  4. at least he hit it, thats a good sign
  5. wow, scares the s*** out of me when Youk slides. Or...runs...
  6. f*** you ump, you're gonna lose the money you put on the Mariners today.
  7. why was he even getting in the way? Let the guy who was wrong fight his own battles.
  8. fiiiiixed! walk off the field Sox, this game is now under protest
  9. How much longer is ADA gonna be out? I hope he's ok
  10. Wow, theyve lost 17 out of 20 against us? And you thought our record against KC was bad
  11. ...Oline was atrocious and everything filtered down from that. They couldn't run block to save their lives, and if the run game isn't going then the passing game suffers. I'm really concerned that our terrible Oline is going to hold the rest of the team back. But eventually I'm sure they'll manage to be serviceable, last year they managed to right the ship somewhat.
  12. as long as that ball lands in the strike zone, what does it matter if the pitcher didn't know where it would end up?
  13. Niice...the rally begins
  14. because I didn't even think it was borderline, it was clearly a strike This guy probably teased Mariners on the spread
  15. Thats a strike asshole, cut him some slack
  16. this ump is being a real dick too
  17. People just want to believe that we found a superstar.
  18. Well, really. I expect a blow up from him every time I see him, and am relieved every time he does good. Same with Addison Reed. Like Hawk was saying, a rookie is a rookie. Hopefully Q shows some of his famous resiliency and mental strength
  19. Q was due to come back down to Earth
  20. true but the pass to Bennett came after NY took their starters out, so I don't count it. He put that drive together against 2nd stringers.
  21. Really? Really? He looked terrible to me. We've seen him play great before even despite his line falling apart. But he was not anywhere near great or even good yesterday. He was throwing it too high a bunch of times. The whole team looked like they had just smoked a bunch of crystal meth before they took the field honestly. Maybe they got psyched out by playing on the road in the meadowlands
  22. Is Addison Reed really a closer? I don't know if his stuff is deceptive enough to make people swing and miss. Am I crazy or does he just throw it hard down the middle usually? He looks very hittable to me.
  23. Can't watch this tonight One of the rare games this season I'll have to miss. Win it for me boys!
  24. Lorenzo Booker, didn't he have a killer juke in a return in that game? I want him to be the #3
