  1. If his control improves just slightly, he’s a future #2 easily
  2. You can probably forget about Collins. Obviously it’s early but he has been extremely underwhelming
  3. Yeah, NOW he’s getting squeezed. The homeplate ump’s been pretty bad today
  4. That last one was hit off of the end of the bat
  5. Good to have Hawk back, defending every terrible play and every brutal coaching decision. Go away already
  6. Why do Hawk and Stone think that Moncada is Leury? Holy s***
  7. Getaway day for the homeplate ump, eh? He’s called a handful of pitches strikes that were actually balls
  8. That segment was painful. Roan is terrible enough as it is, but to listen to him and Hawk talk about golf? That inning is finally over. Thank god
  9. Davidson’s OPS is hovering around .900 as we approach 5/1. Who would have thought?
  10. Could have hit the 2 fastballs right down the middle
  11. 2-3” off the plate, low and away
  12. Every pitch was called correctly, so I’m not sure I agree
  13. I’ve just about seen my fair share of walks for the next 5 months. This is gross
  14. I asked this last night, but isn’t Geoff Blum their analyst?
  15. What the hell is Hawk talking about
  16. I was told “honestly, take the year off” last night in the GT, so I guess while it’s beyond both of our wildest expectations, everyone else here assumed they’d be this s***ty, so it’s our fault for not being mentally prepared to lose 13 out of every 15 games
  17. Let’s just say you’re correct (you’re not) that all teams who tank do it, win for 3-4 years and then suck ass again: wouldn’t that be a good problem to have? They were 90 feet away from back to back championships. The argument could also be made that the Royals, being a small market team and all, couldn’t afford to keep all of their guys around. The Sox, meanwhile, *should* be able to keep the main guys if it all works out. Unless you’re LAD, NYY, BOS, or the Cubs, some of those stars will have to leave. Like someone else mentioned, the Cubs and Houston are going to be in the playoffs for the next 10 years. The Braves’ rebuild are looking good & Cincy’s farm is getting there too. Not sure why you picked one organization who successfully tanked just to help your point. I think you’re getting two options mixed up. Typically loading up on FA’s is the way to only compete for a year or three, although that’s only if you get lucky. Rebuilding (“tanking”) is the way to sustain success for years if done properly.
  18. Austin said “2-3 on THIS roster” and Balta said “I think 10-15,” so we’re discussing the White Sox roster, not all of the minor leagues.
  19. What 10-15 current players are apart of the Sox future?
  20. April 1, 2019, hopefully. What the f*** is the point otherwise
  21. You thought they’d be lucky to win 55 games? Come on now
  22. Nobody knew it was going to be like this.
