They lead the league in errors. Moncada and Vaughn aren't hitting. The bullpen hasn't been great. Jimenez and Anderson are hurt I'm not sure how adding a mediocre SP helps any of that

To be fair, anyone that loses their best power hitter and maybe now their best pure hitter is going to struggle. Who could they have signed for the bench for .325 average or 40+ homers?

Pitching is an issue. It seems like it always is for them. Maybe they can just a super offense if Adell can come back to the bigs and be the player a lot of us thought & try to win every night 9-7
